Unity Church Of Bellevue

The Sunday message from Rev. John McLean was so funny. I loved that this man wore a bow tie and wasn't afraid to speak his mind and share his quirky, yet eerily true insights. The music was uplifting, It's nice to hear a church audience applaud the musicians. Definitely NOT a stuffy traditional church. The Rev. Patty Becker did a guided meditation that left me feeling blissfully relaxed and in the moment. At the end of the service everyone joined hands and sang a song of peace. Kinda cool. I really really liked it. I heard they do a pet blessing in October where everyone brings their pet to church for the minister to bless! And the dog, cats, birds, etc... are all well behaved through the service?! Including the meditation?! I've just got to see this!

Unity Church of Bellevue has a comfortable, subdued sanctuary in soothing colors. It's Friendship Hall is large enough for most events, but small enough to still feel intimate for both funeral receptions and community events. I especially like the muted marbled paint job in the Friendship Hall.
