I've been coming here for almost a year now and I think I'm addicted! I was a little surprised by the cost compared to other pilates classes I was looking into but soon realized why it is worth a litte more money. Classes max out at 4

I've been coming to Pilates Northwest for reformer classes for two and a half years. I love that they are a small studio so the classes are never more than four people, and I've often been in classes with only one other person. With such

There are studios offering Pilates instruction all over the place. So why do I travel a minimum of 45 minutes (one way) twice a week to Pilates NW? Because, as Sara Y says, it's serene. As Sarah L says, the instructors are exceptional.

A treasure of a Pilates studio just off Lake City Way. Exceptional instructors, warm and private atmosphere, profound results! Since 2006, Pilates Northwest has been my salvation after significant shoulder and knee troubles put a damper

It was so easy for me to get in shape with intensive classes from Pilates Northwest in North Seattle, WA. I was able to work at my own pace and to tailor my workouts to target my trouble areas for fast results.

I started one-on-one instruction at Pilates Northwest during my current pregnancy. I feel like I've found a hidden gem in Seattle. The studio is lovely, clean, and easy to find, with ample parking. But what sets this studio apart is the quality of instruction. The prenatal instruction (by Susan in particular) is so careful and attentive, and it's the right amount of challenge during this time. I leave feeling 2 inches taller! It's been easy to schedule appointments (especially with evening slots open). I will definitely continue my classes here after my baby is born.

Pros: instruction, ease of scheduling, location, cleanliness,

Cons: don't be fooled by the appearance from the street--it's lovely inside

I began Pilates training at Pilates NW out of extreme frustration with a three-year old (ongoing) back injury that would not heal. After working on it through yoga, physical therapy, chiropractic, and masssage therapy, I was hopeful that Pilates could help, where all else seemed to fail. What I found was that the knowledge of the trainers at Pilates NW was the key factor - along with the fabulous work outs - that has put me on the road to true healing. The trainers are capable of "reading" your body, and focusing on the cause of tightness, movement limits, and specific body disfunction! The professionalism of the trainers at this studio is the heart of it's value.

I joined Pilates Northwest in my fourth month of pregnancy, it was the smartest thing I could have done for my body. I have the most wonderful instructor, who has helped so much in pre-natal and now post-natal in getting my body back in shape. The studio is truly a great place where you feel like the women that are there, are your friends. I actually look forward to coming in and working out, and that has NEVER been the case before. Pilates Northwest is a place where you want to come to and know that you are doing the right thing for your body and mind. Keep up the great work.

Great! I have been a weekly client of Northwest Pilates for over 2 years. This studio doesn't strive to be flashy or pretentious. I have been very impressed with the studio, the owner, the staff and the quality of instruction. I have worked with several of their instructor/trainers and impressed with every one of them, all well-trained seasoned experts that have significantly contributed to my personal development. They have been extremely accommodating of schedules impacted by travel and such. Pilates in general has made a significant difference in all my outdoor activities from skiing to kayaking and I credit the detailed and consistent focus of my instruction at Pilates Northwest with that difference.

I recently started going to pilates northwest in an effort to tone up again. The instructors are amazingly nice and knowledgable, and the private lessons are out of this world. Working together with my instructor we have pinpointed what muscles I need to work out. Pilates has made me gain a lot more body awareness (especially as to how I hold myself) and I can see noticable results after just a month! The people here are exceptionally nice and work very well with busy schedules. They have appointments late in the day (until 7 or 8 pm i think) and on Saturdays, too. I highly recommend the private lessons, but they keep even the classes small in order to ensure personal attention to everyone.
