I stayed here for the 1st week after moving to Seattle from Hawaii. It was close to work, It was impeccably clean, the staff was nice giving me advice about the Seattle area. It has a fun bar downstairs. I would recommend it!

Pros: Comfy beds, Sexy bar and Strong Drinks

Cons: Expensive, food isn't to die for

Absolutely wonderful weekend at the W Hotel Seattle. Love W's modern decor, concierge services (eagerly helped with spa and beauty appointments), front desk services (issues with multiple lost keys and no judgments made), and nightlife. And, it's close to EVERYTHING.

Pros: Quite music, good drinks, no one bothers you

Cons: Not too many people fit there - if you come on Friday, Saturday night most likely you will not find a spot

I'm a frequent visitor to Seattle and have stayed at the W numerous times. The last few visits have been so terrible I stay anywhere else, even though I'm a member of their points program. \r

First off, the hotel is in dire need of

Pros: Cheap rates through expedia, good music in the lounge

Cons: Nickel & dimed on everything, poor customer service, party central

I stayed at the W for a business convention (zzzzzzzzzz). From the minute our cab dropped us off, it was show time. The entire staff are well trained and in the business of catering to people. I know this because I DO customer service

Go to the W Hotel/Seattle for many reasons: Great Bar. Comfy rooms with million threadcount sheets (exageration), great pillows, excellent staff. Just feel comfortable here.\r

I've been to the W Bar 3 or 4 times for Happy Hour, and it's generally very good. My girlfriend always gets the Emerald Drop, which is a Happy Hourt special, and she swears by the thing - I prefer to stay with the Happy Hour beer menu,

I am so over the W thing. I know - the dark lights, mode furniture and pounding music was the "thing" in the 1990's, but I'm done. After walking a city like Seattle, i don't want to open a lobby door with the thump, thump of extremely loud

The decor is lovely and modern, and the rooms are comfortable, but the staff is very snobby and not especially helpful or friendly. I've stayed here several times on business trips, and enjoy the "hipness" and decor of the hotel, but am just not that impressed with the service.

The restaurant (Earth & Ocean) is really good. The gym is adequate, and a fair bit nicer than most hotel gyms. The Heavenly Bed is exactly that. But if I were paying for the hotel stay myself, I'd stay at a comparable hotel with better service.

It's centrally located downtown, but there's no self parking and it's quite expensive to park a car there.

PROS: great decor, good restaurant, central location, Heavenly bed
CONS: snobby service, expensive parking

The W Hotel is smooth, cool, fresh. I say it's because the entire Hotel has art decco, modern, art. Furniture is hip, and definitely makes you feel like a movie star. The bar is fly. Seriously though, this place is over priced, caters to a specific population, and is a bit snoby. If you like popular hot spots this is definitely one of them in Seattle.
