Welcome to the boutique Hotel Vintage Park, a downtown Seattle hotel. Our charming luxury hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle celebrates Washington's wine industry by dedicating each room to a local winery and vineyard. In the style of a Seattle boutique hotel, the luxury Hotel Vintage Park offers a welcome respite from the busy outside world. Yet we're located in the heart of downtown Seattle in the city's retail and financial center, making our boutique hotel an ideal destination for business and leisure travelers alike.

In Short
Much is made of the omnipresent wine theme at this boutique-style downtown property along Hotel Row. Understandably so: Each room is named after a Washington state winery and guests can indulge in a complimentary wine tasting every afternoon. But there's more to the hotel's charm than that. The Vintage Park is housed in a wonderfully refurbished 1920s apartment block and outfitted in green and burgundy brocades, with lots of settees and armchairs.

Key Points

  • Downtown Seattle
  • Vineyard themed decor
  • Boutique luxury

The Inside Scoop

  1. Look Good - Guests can check out books from the Seattle Public Library next door or from the hotel's private collection.
  2. On the Menu - Room service comes from the hotel's on-site restaurant, Tulio.
  3. The Extras - Rooms come equipped with plush leopard-print robes and an instructional yoga video.
  4. Know Before You Go - Pets are welcome. All guests enjoy free Wi-Fi.

My husband and I stayed here a couple months ago and we were sad to leave! The room was so nicely done and very comfortable and relaxing. The staff was a dream and we loved every minute of our stay. NICE!

Excellent accomodations and service!

My family spent a Christmas holiday at the Hotel Vintage Park. We enjoyed their botique cozy comfy hotel. The rooms were nice sized and decorated warmly. We enjoyed their evening wine tasting event before venturing off to dinner. The front desk manager surprised my parents with a complimentary bottle of wine when they returned. It was a nice way to say Thank You.

Well appointed

by Susanne C. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,139

one of my aunts flew in over the holidays and she was a guest at Hotel vintage park. I spent one night as an overnight guest and i found this to be a comfortable and well situated hotel. We spent an enjoyable evening playing cards in her room and one nice feature is that the walls are thick enough that you don't hear your neighbors. the carpets are luxurious and the beds were firm but not rigid. i remember that the staff was pleasant and helpful.

A decent hotel but there are nicer alternatives.......

by George O. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 3,779

We had stayed at the Hotel Vintage Park a while ago while staying in the Seattle area. They don't have a hotel shuttle, so you'll need to have your own car or rental car to get there from the airport. Sure you could take a taxi, but that would be a little expensive.

It is in a good location close to the I-5 freeway in the downtown Seattle area. It is close to the Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, Safeco Field, and etc.

However, this is a boutique hotel with not a lot of rooms. Our first room was situated right next to the elevator (and you could hear the elevator) with a view of the guess what.....parking garage. Our bed also seemed just like a full-sized bed which wasn't going to do. So, I had called down to ask for a bigger room with some kind of view which cost us only $50 per night for the upgrade.

The new room was much bigger that had a decent view of some of the other skyscrapers in downtown Seattle. The bed was also king-sized, and the bathroom also had Aveda products as well.

But for a boutique hotel, you're not going to have a pool or jacuzzi or health club or anything, so if you're looking for a hotel with a lot more amenities, look elsewhere.

We spent about $340 for 3 nights in this hotel.

Amazing!

by dannia

I stayed here for my boyfriend's birthday and I have never felt so welcome! They went above and beyond to ensure that his birthday was extra special! They even contacted the restaurant that we had reservations for that night and let them know it was his birthday!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The rooms are beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful! Could you ask for more!!

Perfect Hotel. Great Staff. Will stay here many more times

by kap911

I am actually staying in the hotel as I write this but I've had such a great experience that I had to write this now (on the free wireless internet access). The staff couldn't be more helpful. They are perfect. Every person I've encountered. My puppy and I arrived a few hours before check-in. It was raining here (flooding) when we arrived so it was hard to find somewhere to eat lunch, etc until we could get in our room. The restaurant attached to the hotel helped me out. They let us sit on the patio and kept apologizing for it being wet (the tables and chairs weren't so it wasn't a problem at all). She ended up giving me lunch for free (totally unnecessary). My dog and I ended up going to sit in the lobby for 30 minutes or so by the fire (which was great on a rainy day) until a room was ready (which was 2 or so hours before check-in). We got up to our room and it was great. HUGE (HUGE!!!) bathroom with tons of counter space, which you rarely see in hotels. The bed is so comfy. A few hours later they delivered a fruit plate, dog snacks and a note saying how sorry they were that we were inconvienced (which we weren't ever). It also had some free room service vouchers in it. This hotel could not be better. Everyone has catered to my every need, even though I've asked for very little. It's a great place. I'll be here for 2 more nights and I'm sure I'll experience even more great service.

Every hotel should be like this.

Pros: Staff, staff, staff. Pet friendly. Value

Cons: Nothing. My room doesn't have a view but I couldn't care less

just don't order room service

by danamoroberge

We stayed at the HVP on our wedding night. It was a beautiful suite and they had generously left a bottle of champagne chilling for us upon our arrival. All was wonderful, other than our far less than satisfactory breakfast room service experience.

Cons: room service was poor in quality, value, and service

by kkinseattle

Very personal service, sincere concern for our comfort. Brand new renovation of lobby and guest rooms, near everthing. Met a winemaker at the evening wine reception, Tulio is fantastic, great value, nice room, great amenities. Service above all, very accomodating and sincere.

Wine Tastings in the Lobby are just the start

by foodiebytrade

This hotel is fantastic..just a quick walk to downtown. The rooms are great and the service is wonderful. The complimentary wine tastings in the lobby each evening are a plus and really provide all the hotel guests a moment to meet each other or just have a sip of wine before their evening outings.

Pros: downtown, concierge is great, wine tastings

Excellent anniversary visit

by indyjnz

My wife and I celebrated our 12th anniversary by staying at the Hotel Vintage Park and it was a great experience. The king premier room was nice and spacious, the view (10th floor corner) was great, and the service was excellent - very friendly, helpful staff - they even gave us a bottle of nice wine for our anniversary. The hotel has an old world, rustic feeling for being so central in Seattle and was nice and quiet. It was perfect for the activities we planned, all within walking distance. We'd highly recommend and will visit again sometime.

Pros: Romantic ambience, Excellent Tulio food, Wireless internet

Cons: Cramped lobby

very romantic!

by kkunins

My husband and I have stayed in many hotels both international and domestic and consider the HVP one of the best! Last year for our wedding, we along with many of our out-of-town guests stayed at the HVP for the long Labor Day weekend. The hotel staff was patient and courteous making sure every detail was perfect. We had such a wonderful time we decided to come back for our 1st anniversary, and again, we were not disappointed.

Pros: Attentive staff , wine tasting, comfy

Fantastic Staff and Location

by Denwash

I admit that I was sceptical of this hotel at first - rooms based on Washington Wineries? Sounds trendy and ephemeral to me. The staff at this hotel completely changed my mind. The service was very personal and you could tell that the staff took a lot of pride in both their work and hotel itself. There was a definite sense of intimacy in the layout of the lobby and I got the impression that I could comfortably sit by the fireplace and read a good book all day without being bothered. An excellent hotel with a superlative staff!

Comfy

by nicole_chambers

2/14-2/17 stay. The staff behind the counter were extremely courteous. The lobby is small but lush. The room decor was unique and tasteful. Forgotten toothbrush dilemma was solved by hotel amenities. Overall it was a good stay. Negatives: The woman pouring for the free wine tasting in the lobby paid no attention to us when we attempted to taste the two wines they had available; instead she proceeded to answer the phone and slapped my boyfriend's wrist when he attempted to look at the wine bottle. We had just walked in after a rainy day of sightseeing; therefore, we were in jeans and jackets. She also noticed we are a younger couple and turned down her nose to loudly ask if we were legal to drink. (The answer is yes). Also, the server we had in the adjacent restaurant, Tulio, was a bit too pompous to be friendly and helpful.

Pros: 99% of staff friendly, Decor

Cons: Expensive parking!

Romantic wedding night room

by UKfan

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night. We were treated very well and loved our room. The wine theme adds to the romance and NW feel. Overall, very romantic, warm and quiet. The best part, though, was the late night menu--we were hungry, of course, after our wedding and ordered some very yummy cookies and milk!

Pros: charming, good service, valet parking

Cons: room small, expensive

A favorite!

by msmjb

Beautiful, comfortable decor, intimate atmosphere -- but the best thing about the Vintage Park is its staff. They remember repeat guests and treat them to warm personal service and attention to detail, making a stay here BETTER than "home away from home!" (If I got service like this at home, I wouldn't travel!)

Pros: Comfortable, Intimate

Cons: No gym, A bit pricey

Friendly & Welcoming

by MRB

the vintage park is a great hotel. the facilities are a bit lacking (no coffee maker in my room and busted tv control for example) but this is more than made up for by the friendly and welcoming staff. The decor is very good and its a great feeling to sit down in the lobby next to the log fire in the early evening for a drink before heading out. tulio's restaurant is also very good if a little expensive. im in seattle on business so its great to find a hotel where i can relax properly at the end of the day.

Pros: Great Staff

Cons: Poor Amenities

To ignite your mood

by NHerd

My Husband and I spent our wedding night here and it was the best choice we could have made. We recieved the suite, which was just to die for. It had a huge tub:) When we arrived they already had a fire burning and Champaigne chilling, which was a very nice touch... I would recommend this room to anyone who wants to have great service and a weekend of romance. We have already decided to go back for our 1st anniversary.

Pros: Great Location, Expensive Feel, Very nice staff
