Truly a boutique hotel  4 Star Rating - Very good

In downtown Seattle, the Hotel Monaco did right by us. The room was good sized and clean and comfortable, although I found the furnishings somewhat colorful and eclectic. Housekeeping accommodated our every need. The Front Desk staff were friendly and knew the area and were able to make suggestions that met our needs.

Expensive but worth it  4 Star Rating - Very good

A downtown location with an emphasis on service. The suite was spacious, comfortable, clean, and well furnished. It's not the room that will make you pay extra, it's the service. Staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and unbelievably helpful. I highly recommend the Monaco to all who can afford the rate.

Fun hotel with great service and amazing restaurant  5 Star Rating - World class

I've stayed here several times on business, and also on my wedding night. It's an amazing hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the adjoining restaurant (Sazerac) is great, especially for breakfast, and you even get a goldfish in your room if you're missing your pet back home. The decor is quirky and fun, and the beds are really comfy.

The suite we stayed in for the wedding was beautiful and HUGE, with a jacuzzi tub, top of the line toiletries, and a nice spa basket waiting for us.

I highly recommend this for either business or pleasure as it's centrally located downtown and you don't need a car if you're planning to stay close. Parking can be expensive and overnight street parking is extremely hard to find (and possibly non-existent).

PROS: great decor, great service, yum restaurant
CONS: expensive parking (no self-park)

Very nice hotel  5 Star Rating - World class

This is a boutique-y type hotel. It's very cute and charming. It's definitely a special place to take your wife or partner. It's within walking distance of downtown. There are many choices nearby for dinning, but it also has an excellent restaurant downstairs. The rooms are charming, clean and very nice. Just a wondeful play to stay!

Worth Every Penny!  5 Star Rating - World class

Located right in the heart of Downtown Seattle, Hotel Monaco is a beautiful, luxurious hotel. The colorful Mediterranean decor is warm, cheerful and inviting. My husband and I stayed in the Mediterranean Suite which has a large hot tub in the bathroom. Room Service is available 24-hours and the food was delicious! The hotel is within walking distance of Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square.
I would highly recomend this hotel for anyone wanting a special get away!

Boutique Downtown Hotel  5 Star Rating - World class

We stay at this hotel whenever we visit Seattle. The rooms feel like luxury even though the price is generally affordable. They have meeting rooms and on site parking. Although the parking was fairly pricey, but I guess that is the case for most downtown hotels.

Nice place  4 Star Rating - Very good

My uncle came to town last summer and stayed at the Hotel Monaco. I'd always wondered what the hotel would look like inside, but being from here and not too apt to stay in a hotel downtown, I never got the chance to see. Well, I was truly impressed with the place. It was gorgeous inside, with great decor and remarkable class for a hotel in Seattle. The hotel offers specials, too, or so my uncle said, so check it out.

Hotel Monaco is an amazingly classy hotel. In my option it is the nicest place to stay in downtown Seattle. The rooms have a seating area, ample closet space, the beds are turned down at night and the maid tunes in classical music in the evening. There is a cool bar / restaurant attached to the lobby. Within walking distance of Pikes and the shoreline.
