The staff is what made my stay in Seattle ... tolerable. Attentive and extremely helpful. The rooms are not per se suites however, there is enough space for business stays. The breakfast is not thing ... it would be nice to cater to the non-meateaters like having turkey sausage or fakin' bacon. Cannot fault Springhill that is most hotels.

I must say I love staying at Springhill Suites in Seattle, WA ... really because of the staff ... oh yea the rooms are clean.

This was my experience in the summer of 2008: I had called this hotel in July to make a reservation for our Labor Day weekend stay, and the reservation went pretty smoothly...\n\nHowever, when I showed up to check in with my party and my luggage on the day of our reservation, they had no record of my reservation. They had managed to completely lose my name, my confirmation number, and any record of my phone call EXCEPT for my credit card number! They did have that recorded - UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME AND A DIFFERENT RESERVATION DATE! How this happened, I have really no idea, but the idea of them taking my credit card information is very frightening. That was the one piece of information they did manage to hang onto after mysteriously losing all of my contact information as well as my confirmation number!\n\nWell after telling me all this, of course they didn't have another room for me, since they were fully booked. They left us hanging on the Friday night of Labor Day weekend in downtown Seattle with no place to stay.\n\nI called them later, after returning from my trip, and spoke to a manager to file a complaint. She was absolutely no help to me, and just said over and over ""wow, I don't know how that happened"". She did not offer me any sort of compensation for the expensive hotel we finally found while searching around Seattle after they refused us a room. Needless to say, I am never going there again, and I would advise future Seattle travelers to stay away - and DO NOT give them your credit card information!

I used to live in the apartments connected to the Springhill Suites. It's a nice location - very close to the downtown shopping area and the Convention Center. The staff is relatively helpful, from what I can remember (I had friends who stayed there when I lived next door). Overall, the hotel is fine, but not impressive. If you are visiting Seattle, you ought to have a great experience. Try Inn at the Market, the Sorrento, or Hotel Monaco.

I stayed here once while looking for a place to live perminatley. It was definatley the worst expierince I ever had, thanks to their staff.

My robe was stolen from the bathroom most likely by housekeeping while I was out during the day, and when I complained to the front desk staff they refused to do anything about it.

Once while running to the elevator in the parking garage, a few members of the housekeeping staff saw me running towards the door, laughed and waived at me and let the doors close. Another time I was harassed by a kitchen employee to give him a cigarette.

Never again would I let someone I know even think of staying there.

Okay, so it's not a suite per se but the room provides a sofa sleeper, fridge, micro, sink and coffee maker. \n\nI had a read a review about the free breakfast being lacking but found it not to be true. It was more than enough: oatmeal, cold cereal, milk, yogurt, fruits, muffins, breads and even peanut butter!\n\n24 Hour Fitness is across the street and as I am a member, it was perfect. \n\nHotel provided shuttle service to/from downtown and Space Needle. \n\nThe hotel was nice, clean, affordable and I feel I got a lot of bang for the buck. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Free Breakfast, Free Shuttle
