5 Stars: Anniversary (by My V.)

My girlfriend and I went to Palisades for our anniversary (not a wedding on yet). I must say we had a great time. They provided a card congratulating us and further had rose pedals all around our table. The additional service was free, but it did make me a bit more generous in my tip.

Their prices may seem high or low depending on the types of restaurants a person frequents. Their steaks are quite competitive in terms of price with other comparable steak houses. For the service, atmosphere and experience, I would say the price was a great deal. $120 got us chowder, a crab cake, two entrees, dessert, tea, and coffee.

5 Stars: Great atmosphere (by Mindy B.)

The Palisades is often overlooked by many people who just don't even know its there. They have great food, incredible scenery and much finer atmosphere than most other restuarrants in Seattle. Their view is to die for. Even if you go just to the bar and have an appetizer you'll always feel a little like being in the tropics.

5 Stars: My favorite (by Baxter B.)

I think the Palisades should be voted Seattle's finest restaurant. There are steak houses and steak houses and seafood places galore but none match the atmosphere, price and food of the Palisades.

5 Stars: A bit of Paradise (by Alex S.)

The Palisades reminds me of being in
Hawaii. I love the building and its tropical
feel. Even if you don't go for their wonderful
dinners, its a great place for appetizers
and drinks. Especially on one of those
sunny Seattle days.

5 Stars: Top notch (by Richard A.)

When I ran a limo business this was the most popular place to take a loved one. It is also one of the most expensive. The decor is very nice wish and has a well kept fish pond in the entrance. The food is really good on the level with Canlis. I like the hard wood decor and the bar area is open and friendly. The appitizers are very good the lobster bree is super good.

3 Stars: Reservations are not priority (by Lindsay G.)

Every time I've gone to this restaurant (which has been at least 15 times) I have the best food, the most beautiful views, and beyond elegant dining. However, getting to the table is probably the most difficult thing I've dealt with since finals. The last 4 times I've gone there, I've brought 7 people with me. We've made reservations DAYS beforehand, and still we wait 20+ minutes to be seated AFTER our reservation time. Certainly they compensate with delicious appetizers, and copious apologies, but it's pretty ridiculous to have such a high-class restaurant performing in such a way.

PROS: EXCELLENT food, beautiful view, great for clients and business dinners.
CONS: Pricey, lack of punctuality, young waitstaff.

5 Stars: One of the best restaurants in Seattle! (by Emily A.)

I love this restaurant because of the atmosphere and the outstanding food! If you have a special occasion, this is the place to go. I always get the salmon there and it is always amazing. Last time we got the banana icecream and it is soo good. I highly recommend it.

Service is always great. Parking is valet. After dinner you can walk along the marina; which has a view of the city.

PROS: great food, great location
CONS:

5 Stars: Most romantic restaurant! (by madge y.)

Somebody please propose to me here! This is one of my top ten. Most romantic restaurants. Perhaps, it's the cascading steps into the restaurant...the decor? The food is 5 stars. Service is excellent. Views...the arrangement, it's an experience. I will always love this restaurant, and their clam appetizer.

PROS: Most romantic restaurant for me
CONS: Expensive

5 Stars: Exquisite sunday brunch or anytime (by Rorke H.)

Classy without being snobby, Palisade is a must for any Seattle-ite who wants to entertain out-of-town guests or simply give themselves a nice treat. The Sunday brunch is particular nice, with an excellent buffet of fresh fruits, delictable hot entrees, and other treats. On a sunny day, the view of the marina and a bit of downtown Seattle is not to be missed. Kids will enjoy feeding the fish in the open-air aquarium underfoot.

PROS: Delicious food, awesome view, cool walk-over aquarium
CONS: A bit pricey (but worth it)
