After taking my family's pcs here several times, I made the mistake of bringing a backup copy of a cd with my computer rather than the original. Unbelievably, this led to my being yelled at and kicked out of the store! I don't know if the owner was objecting to imagined piracy or just felt I was somehow wasting his precious time, he wouldn't explain.
I previously felt the owner/operator of pcs and printers was amusingly arrogant about being a competent pc repairman. I paid that no mind, since my computers got fixed quickly enough and at acceptable prices. However, not only would I never go back, I wonder how someone with no understanding of how their machine works would fare communicating with this man.

I used to recommend PC's and Printers as an alternative to the computer services that I offered, yet I will not do that anymore. The last few times I have dealt with Jim, the owner, he has been quite terse and, at times, been flat-out rude and condescending towards me. As a computer technician who also values customer service, I am saddened that there are other technicians out there who feel the need to "talk down" to their customers as well as their professional peers. In my opnion, actions such as this are detrimental to all parties involved.

I was lucky to find this guy and his shop, fter a bad experience at another shop. Great Stuff!

He recovered data from a bad drive for me and did it at a great price and with good service. recovered the data and put it on my own external drive. Along the way he called with updates too.

If you live within a few miles and have a computer problem - this is the guy.

A friend recommended Jim when my hard drive crashed. Needless to say, I was frustrated and scared at the thought of losing all of my data. Jim carefully explained how he was going to try to save my data. In just a few days he was able to retrieve and reinstall my old data on to a new hard drive, as well as reinstall all of my old programs. His customer service was the best that I have received in years. He called me at home to make sure everything was working all right and he even gave me a blueberry muffin recipe! It was truly a pleasurable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone with a computer problem.

I found this business by accident after trying to get my data from a very old computerthat crashed about two years ago. I had no help at the big stores and decided to look in North Seattle for a small business. I called and received positive information over the phone.

When I brought my very old hand me down computer in, Jim Flajole was able to save my documents and build me a new computer that fitted my needs and finances. I have learned a lot about computers from Jim and also had him assess my hand me down printer. He examined it and told me to keep it and maybe consider servicing it because it was a excellent model and should last with care. Taking in consideration I had had this item for 4 years and the friend who had given it to me had had it through college I was pleasantly surprised to not have someone try to sell me something new.

Over the last couple of years I have had routine service on my equipment and have updated programs. I have come to rely on Jim to steer me in the appropriate direction to have my computer needs met. I felt confident to pass Jim's card to friends and would not have had I not had such a positive experience getting practical assistance and equipment from Pcs & Printers.

I have a limited knowlege of technical terminology and have found that Jim has always been able to answer my questions and resolve my system issues promptly and courteously. He has, on occassion, even called me at home with information that he thought I might need to know but we had not discussed at the shop. Now that's good service! I have found the prices to be very reasonable and the turn around time to be satisfactory. If you have an urgent problem he is willing to put forth his best effort to accommodate you. He sort of shrugged off my questions and was rather rude when I didn't use the terminology he was looking for. He said he would look at my computer to try to figure out what was wrong. A week passed and he hadn't called, so I called to check in. After admitting that he should have called sooner, he said that nothing could be done to fix my computer, and I might as well get a new one. I took it to another shop, where two hours and less than $200 later, I had a new battery (the "unfixable" problem), a new video card, and extra RAM. I'm glad I got a second opinion.
