Reviews for The Secret Garden Gift Shop & Tea Room

Ratings_icons yummy and pretty place

mame t.

I loved this place. The lady who owns this place catered my wedding. So they do cater. Wonderful food, pretty little gifts in the shop next door. And many different teas to choose from. Friendly staff as well and very helpful for the wedding. (with the planning) This store has closed in the Factoria Mall, but has moved to Sumner. A bit farther away, but is now a very popular spot!!

Ratings_icons Great Selection of Beautfiul Gifts

This store is located in the Factoria Mall, and it is most definitely worth a visit for unique gifts, knick-knacks and lovely items. Think tea sets, potpourri, Anne Geddes merchandise, stationery sets, etc.

The staff is helpful and the prices are in line with what you'd expect to pay for these items. This is a great store to pick up a shower gift or something for an older lady in your life.

Ratings_icons Wonderful Scones, Nice Atmosphere, Prompt Service

I went with a girlfriend with an infant in tow and the staff were highly accomodating of the bulky stroller and inevitable baby noise. Service was prompt, they offer a nice selection of both regular and herbal teas. The scones were wonderful, something very rare in this area. My only caveat would be to suggest going when there is not a major musical performance being staged in the mall right outside their door.

Ratings_icons very high quality food in a poor location

This store has a tea house and a separate gift shop. The tea house serves traditional English tea and food. The scone is the best I've ever tasted in this state and the savory snacks are equally delicious. Same for the cranberry half-frozen salad/dessert. I ordered a set lunch at $19 and found it to be of good value, with tea, scone, cake, savory appetizer, fruit, salad and soup.

The food is so good that it really makes me wonder why they choose to open inside a mall. The ambience, plus the overhead fluorescent lights really kills it.

I went into this store recently and wouldn't return. The sales person never greeted or acknowledged me. I wandered for a while because they had really pretty things. I even went right up by the counter, interested in purchasing some items by the register that was in a case, but I was ignored. I stayed a bit longer, then left. They were not interested in my business and I am not interested in spending money there, ever.

PROS:
CONS: Very poor customer service.
