My favorite coffee shop at the U-district, it's right on 45th and 13th, close to the UW. Everything I tried there has been fantastic so far, both chai and coffee there is awesome. The list of chai kinds that they offer is ridiculously long, every time I go there I try something new and haven't been disappointed so far. Free wifi is a bonus. The only problem with this place is parking - street parking can be a hustle.
Bottom line: definitely must-checkout when in U-district!
I love getting mochas at Trabant. This place is in a great location, right on 45th street. The people who work here are also really friendly. This is a great place to go with friends or to do homework.
This coffee house has won citysearch's best coffee for three years! Located on 45th and 13th free parking is hard to find, but if you are in the U-District this place is not to be missed. Every 16oz. coffee drink comes with 4 shots of espresso (if you can handle it) and their daunting list of chai is enough to dazzle anybody. I can hardly ever choose between their coffee and their chai either is a win.
If you are lost, just ask one of their excellent baristas what you are wanting flavor wise and they will help narrow it down.
Pros: Great Chai and Coffee, free wifi, live bands friday nights
Cons: the amount of caffeine in your system, they no longer do coffee card (buy 9 get on free)
