Lollipop's Consignment

I don't know why there are any positive reviews about this store. I'm guessing because they are all from several years ago.
I lost my job and took hundreds of dollars of merchandise to her to sell. Out of desperation to support myself and my son I just took her check. I ended up getting $68. I now wish I would have been less desperate and found other ways to sell the merchandise. Everything I brought in was either brand new or in excellent condition.
A few examples are brand new items that cost $110 and $60 that were brand new. She paid me $5 for each item. It's my own fault but I'll never go there again.
It's not like she's selling things at a reasonable price. You can buy brand new items on sale or clearance at any department store.

Lollipops is a nice place to shop. There have been several owners over the years. I'm sad they no longer consign but they will pay cash for your items. They have too much inventory on the racks making a quick shopping trip near impossible. But the merchandise they carry is nice.

I have mixed opinions about Lollipops. I have been a long-time buyer, but when I attempted to sell something here, it was rather difficult. I still prefer eBay to Lollipops, for both buying and selling. Something you can find some good-quality stuff here, but sometimes it is difficult to find something that you like.

This store has a nice selection of clothes and the prices are pretty good as well. They do not sell low quality clothes and I have never had any complaints with my purchases. I havent sold here so I cannot comment on that aspect. Overall I am happy with my shopping here though.

Lots of used childrens clothing, some of it is priced too high and not in that great of condition. They also have toys, cribs and other baby furniture. And they carry adult clothing. The racks are overstuffed and it makes it hard to shop.

I have been a customer at this store and found my experience to be satisfactory. The store was clean, well organized, and the items were of good used quality. She had a large variety (especially for smaller children) of clothing, and had a few other items such as toys and furniture for sale as well.

I have also accomodated a friend of mine to sell items there. They don't do consignment but if you have something they want, they will just purchase it from you to resell. She had several very nice, very clean items to sell, but for some reason the lady was very abbrasive to her. She only purchased two out of ten items, and while I'm sure she just knows what sells and what doesn't, she was quite rude about it. In addition to being rude, the items she did purchase she really didn't pay a fair price for. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but since that experience I have chosen to not attempt to sell there. It's better to use eBay or consignment.

PROS: Great place to buy stuff
CONS: Not so great to sell to

This is a very nice, clean store. The clothes are organized and all in great condition. The prices are fair and she usually has cute stuff. If you are interested in selling clothes this is also a great place. She doesn't consign but actually pays you upfront. She has a very good eye and will find spots on clothing that I missed. Only takes great condition, good quality clothing.

PROS: cute clothes - buys upfront
CONS: not as a big a selection once you hit size 4/5
