Bluebottle Art Gallery & Store

More than once I've walked into Bluebottle to see a selection of art by someone who has recently caught my eye. I don't know if this means that Bluebottle is a great art gallery, or just one that matches my taste. Bluebottle is a very friendly space with a selection of artwork and knick knacks for any price tag. The art is eclectic and quirky. The artwork strongly emphasizes high quality but very unpretentious styles.

Local art can be horrible or really good... and Blue Bottle seems to have a little of both. Some of the photos and painting are not very impressive but there are always a few items that seem to make up for it all. I have found a beautiful necklace their that I know is one of a kind, and I have to admit, I really like thier crazy stuffed monkeys. It's worth stopping in and it feels good to know that you are supporting artists from your neighborhood.

I always have fun shopping in this funky little store. They feature goods and artowrk by local artists, and the focus is on fun. They have great artists creating beuatiful things here, and the prices are reasonable. I love shopping for my friends here, or just browsing and looking at all the shapes and colors.
