To bad this site is for the people we cannot help because they break equipment over and over and think because they spent $100 we should work on there cars for free forever and should get new speakers every time they blow them up due to there ABUSE. I stopped in to buy some speaker spacers, amp install kit, and possibly a new amp. But after a walk around the store I just couldn't bring myself to pay 2x for items I could get else were or online for alot less. While I was in the store I over heard someone ask for some 5 way pioneers, the kid at the counter said they don't make those. I know they make those I have them installed in my car. She replied I know they make them my cousin has some. Makes me wounder if this place is knowledgeable. No one approached me to offer assistance for the 10 minutes I was in the store, even when I walked over to the counter they were a bit hesitant. So in the end I bought the spacers only because I really needed them this weekend I had the rear off my car torn apart to get the speakers in, and ended up paying 2x what they cost online, only to get home and find that one of the spacers has a hideous stress mark down both side, so they won't be going in my car. I took a look at my reciept when I got home ALL SALES FINAL. I called I can't take them back

The guys at stereo warehouse have always been helpful. They have installed both of my amps and even though there were problems both times (one bad amp, one bad head unit), they fix it every time. Even doing it for free when the next amp arrived and working out a different way to hook up my broken head unit (both bought from crutchfield). Not only that but they really do know what they are talking about and will treat you like a real person.

Actually they are really quit good they installed my music quick and easy and my subs were pounding
so loud i thought my deck blew up
so i went back
but it was just a lil glitch so if you really want to know
stereo warehouse is the best place to go to get your car hookd up

ON Saturday the 15TH of March I to had a problem so i went to Stereo Warehouse and They guys there were Very Helpful But only After i got there attention and got them to look at me they were telling jokes or something..I had a bad Amplifier and Woofer.The sales man who helped me was very Knowledgeable and Helpful. I Will return to Stereo Warehouse as They have the best Prices in town just tell them what you have to spend and they will work you a deal that works for you.A+ A+ on the Sales C- C- on the Sales Guys who just need to stop standing in a little group and help the average Joe.

I've never had a problem with stereo warehouse! And I'm actually headed there today to get a deck installed, I didn't even need an appointment!! And I actually purchased my deck from stereo warehouse a few years ago for a crazy price! I love the deck.

For being a place that isn't a franchise like the expensive, bestbuy/magnolia hifi this place is awesome. I went into stereo warehouse about a month ago and asked for a far out system that i'll spend $1,000 on. I then got quotes and wrote them down. The next day i went to Best buy.. half the watts for twice the price.. I mean im looking to buy a great system and heres best buy giving me the worst thing they got. Dual Subs with a 300 watt amp. C'mon..how stupid could i be. Next place i went to was Car Toys. Everyone loves car toys. I mean a great staff that doesn't know what theyre talking about, and to top it off the installers that thing they're so great for having the BEST INSTALLER OF THE MONTH plaqs. Well i found nothing there either. I went back to stereo warehouse. Got myself a brand new pioneer premier cd player. 4 15 inch JBL Powers. and a 3,500 watt amp for about 30% off what it would have been. If you want to get hooked up you tell them you got money and you want something that'll rattle your neighborhood. Im glad i went to stereo warehouse. Now all the neighbors get pissed and its the best feeling when you see someone shaking your head at you :-)

I don't know what is up with the bad reviews here, because I have been shopping at SW for years with no problems. I notice that the bad reviews are all by Anonymous, as well, so I am wondering if they were posted by Car-Toys emplyees or what...
I was just there last month again, replacing a stolen car stereo. The staff always seems quick, ready to help, and knowledgeable. And the prices are the best! I went in for an advertised special for $79.99, and although they were out of that model they offered me the newer model of the same stereo for only ten dollars more. It was installed in under twenty minutes. I will always go there for new car stereo needs!

I have been shoping at Stereo Warehouse for several years now. I feel compelled to write a review because of the exceptional service on my last visit. I have equipped several vehicles over the years and I have always been blown away by price and service. Lately I took an old truck of mine that they put a stereo in about 10 years ago. I was expecting to by a new stereo. They spent alot of time trouble shooting and found the problem. It works as good as new. Thanks Stereo Warehouse !

WOW I just read the poor souls review of poor service at Stereo warehouse....NO i don't want to email him back ..HOW sad for him that he feels the need to trash on someplace my parents and I have gone to for years with GREAT service !!!! ........... I for one have taken a car that had been stripped of all its equipment to find that the owner gave me a really good deal because he wanted to thank me for being a returning customer .!! All my friends go there too and none of them have anything bad to say ! Yes some of there employees are young but HECK look at the Business it is will ya !! I don't believe there is one teenage installer but Hmmmmmm Maybe i will go check it out ! In my book they are a Family business who cares about there customers.Even those that come in Madder then heck because they Blew something up in there car. Oh yea I witnessed one guy totally flip out because he had a hole in his speaker and he felt he had a warranty issue and wanted it to be replaced come on now if you put a hole in your shirt is it covered ? Get a Life Take a Breath and Smile ..THANKS Stereo Warehouse for being there when i needed a little help

The personal service from Stereo Warehouse keeps me coming back. With Best Buy and other businesses offering cheaper products, it's nice to have a local store with great service and better products.

I have been a Stereo Warehouse customer for years. I have always been treated great by the sales staff. They don't try to upsell and pressure you like other car audio stores, if you can even call the other guys a car audio store. If you haven't been to stereo warehouse you better check it out. You wont believe what they have there. They carry everything you could imagine except for cell phones. Then again, when were cell phones a part of car audio? I guess what it all comes down to is that if you haven't been there you have never seen a real car stereo store. Peace.

Stereo Warehouse is the only place I will shop. The employees are very friendly and courteous. Not only that, they are extremely knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile. To contradict what the other reviewers said, there return ploicy is very clearly stated on their receipts. They have always gladly done exchanges for me as long as it was within the return period.For people who don't like to go to the corporate, commission sales floor, Stereo Warehouse is the place that rocks! And they have great prices!

Echoing the thoughts of the previous reviewer, I too had a problem with their return policy. I went to return the speakers, and they wouldn't let me do it. I mean, it was horrible customer service. Sure, their prices might be great; but you sure aren't paying for customer service. The manager was rude, and very confrontational. I really don't understand how they are still in business. In a world where prices are getting more and more similar every place you go, it is service that sets businesses apart. Poor Poor grade here.

I purchesed speakers from stereo warehouse. Unfortunately they didn't work out. I returned them after a week. There was no policy on my reciept. The manager would not let me return my items. Their return policy was in a "hidden" or not an obvious place. I was upset and still calm and polite when discussing this with the employee. The manager's behavior was uncalled for. She was very argumentative and unprofessional. I did get to exchange my items. However, I would have preferred a credit to my account. Because of the way I was treated and the slyness of the return policy posted, I will not purchase or recommend this business to anyone.

Stereo Warehouse work

We have had radios and satellite receivers (Sirius) installed at Stereo Wharehouse.
They have been courteous and extremely helpful, specifically with problems with Sirius reception (which were no fault of Stereo Warehouse): they talked with Sirius and found the source of the problems. We would not have been able to get that kind of help ourselves from Sirius. No charge to us.
This is the only place in town where we would have automobile audio equipment installed or worked on.
(We have had them do installations in our Subaru Forester and our VW Vanagon.)
By the way, besides the courtesy and work, we like very much the easy humor there.

Best place for car audio

I will first start by letting everyone that I am an installer at Stereo Warehouse. I have been working there for about 6 years. I've been reading some of the bad reviews and would like to clear the air. I can't even begin to tell how many repeat loyal customers we have and people that love our store. And yes I have seen A few upset customers but never because we were rude or overpriced. Some people just think they should get everything for nothing or that we should replace gear that is way out of warranty. I think every store deals with crazy people once in awhile. And for the people that say we are rude, I can say that I have never been treated better anywere else I have worked. If you haven't been to our store you realy should check it out. Its insane how much cool gear we have. And even if you don't buy anything I'm sure you will enjoy our store. And as far as our our staff goes... We are all realy in to car audio and know our stuff. So before you are turned away by a few bad reviews come check it out for yourself. You will be happy you did!!!

the odd men out.

As I expected from the commercial these are a bunch of crazy people. I was initially greeted by all things a woman who actually had an IQ. I was then greeted by an older fellow who joked a lot and treated me like a person and not a walking wallet. A little heavy on the playful banter though (but then again I speed sometimes).
Install of the machine took about fifteen min. I thought they were going to say they couldn?t do it when the
Guy handed me my keys
Overall I saved a good $50 bucks on my alpine minus 10 for gas is a $40.00 savings from the place that usually gets my business. Overall Well worth the drive from Tacoma.

BEST PLACE FOR STEREOS

I buy all of my car audio equipment here! I can't get enough. Not only are the prices really reasonable but the staff ACTUALLY knows what they are talking about. The selection is great and you can't beat the service.

i whent to stereo warehouse and bought a cd player subs and an amp the price was ok and after i bought it i found a way better deal some where else also the sub burned out twice and i hardly bounded it the cd players am/fm radio just quit working and i can't find my proff of purchase so they said im srewed and the frist time the sub burned out i whent to get it replaced under warranty and no one helped me for an hour than the guy that replaced it gave me attiude i would not go there if i was you !!! stereo warehouse is the worst place to buy equipment !!!! p.s i was in the army at the time and in uniform and still couldn't get service after i drove two hours to get there because their product failed !~!

Stereo Warehouse is the place to go! I've been there several times and some of those times, I wasn't even there to buy anything and I made that fact known to salesman when I was there so they didn't feel like they needed to put fourth a great effort. None the less, they strike up a convorsation about what they love (stereo equipment ) and tell me about some of the new stuff to the market. And even though I'm not buying they treat me just the same as any paying customer. Sure..... like any warehouse style establishment with any kind of a demand the employees are busy sometimes and you have to wait. But hey! Such is life. As far as knowledge goes most of the staff I've seen in there have been there for a long time. (Unlike best buy, or some other impersonal, souless establishment with a turnover rate like a fastfood joint.) That says something! They are totally up to any question you have to ask. If they don't know, they ask someone and find the answer. Anyways please go and check this place out if you have a chance. Oh! To the guy that says" He heard that the owner is a pedophile." (PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!)Go find a big cliff and play Peter Pan. It's because of little faggots like you who can't find anything to do but wine like the pre menstruel moody woman that you are. I mean really! Where do you come up with stuff like that? How do you or your friends know what a pedophile looks like? Take some time and research something before you make serious accusations like that. Do you even know the owners name? Didn't think so.
