I have been seing Rylee at the Redmond Gene Juarez for 5 years and can't tell you how amazing she is!! Not only is she very talented in her skill but she is also so warm and accomdating. She makes sure I am always comfortable and happy from when I arrive to when I leave. Her friendly personality makes it easy to connect with her. My hair always looks fabulous and I always enjoy my visits. Thank you Rylee and all of the staff that welcomes me every 6 weeks...I enjoy every moment of my visit!

Gene Juarez is known for their infighting, staff waiting to leave, looking for another establishment to expand upon their talents.I came to write my review of their services, and saw a post about how unfair Gene is to their staff. I've heard about it, too- (so unprofessional, BTW. Your friend/stylist could have quietly taken down your number, to tell you where she'll end up.) Don't burn bridges! Gossiping sounds so...gossipy. Makes me uncomfortable.

(Gene believes it's HIS NAME that brings clients forward and the buck stops there. He lost that a long time ago.) Politics are huge at Gene's, and in working with so many of their stylists (not for a cut/color), they are the worst backstabbers about their business they work in. So get out!My rant and rave for the Redmond salon I visited yesterday for a low light/highlight could only be given a 3 star-as we are working with a woman, me, in transition who could not afford as a Beauty Consultant to look Barbie Blond anymore-so low-lights were needed (a gradual process for sure), and since this was my second session, the 1st with a Seattle Stylist-I felt after 5 weeks it needed some refinement. I booked a same day appointment, inquired about the skill level of my colorist and was assured, "She's awesome."Not so...I left the salon yesterday with lowlights front forward and the back was an almost Barbie Blond. No dice.My recommendation goes to their Advanced Training Salon downtown, as they have an instructor who is watching carefully, so 2 almost experts, the trainer was perfect in her vision-I've received the best services of all. And the cost is $30 per style and foils beginning at $55.00. You can't beat the price, professionalism and consultation (being listened to!). I bet you'll walk out very happy.

If it weren't the only place in the Puget Sound area to buy Kerastase from....it would not be worth it! I've been trying to find the Gene Juarez that a lot of people rave about here, but to no avail! I've had way more bad experiences than good ones, at a NUMBER of different locations. I finally found a gal to color my hair that I was fiercely loyal to, and she quit because of "company issues". Same thing with a gal to cut my hair....LOVED her for almost 3 years....she quit because the company was making her work with a health condition that warranted a part time commitment. I don't get it. If you have a LOYAL client following, who the hell cares if your person is part time? We are all just going to eventually follow them elsewhere regardless of the silly, "contracts" you make them sign. It is WAY MORE IMPORTANT to us, the client, to love the job the PERSON does, not the salon. They used to be 5 star, but now it's just a fancy building with high priced goodies inside. The people who work there are SO NOT WORTH IT!!!

I have been to several Gene Juarez locations, and this spa is good, but not the best. My favorite is the Bella Bottega location, with the size and overall atmosphere. The sitting room is small in the spa, but still tranquil and serene, and has that yummy spa smell. The salon is good, I had a regular hair dresser who left who was fabulous, but have tried a few others who were good as well. The staff is friendly, sometimes the wait gets a bit long.

PROS: Convenient locatiion in redmond Town Center
CONS: Go for the bigger spa, this one is nice but not the best

The massages and pedicures at Gene Juarez in Redmond, Washington are excellent. The facials are good, but not as good as other spas in the area. In between services (if you're having more than one service) the staff treats you to a warm foot bath. The negatives are that the spa is kept very warm so it is quite hot inside and also it is very expensive.

This place is so nice and so fancy. But you dont have to be fancy to get your hair done here. I went here to get my hair trimmed before my wedding and the lady that did my hair was so cool. She talked to me, and asked me all about my wedding, and she got my hair growing in such a shape that it would be ready. She took all the split ends off. And the shampoo and conditioner they sold me did truly work, she showed me how to style me hair the way she did it.

Gene Juarez always has the best service & the best people. When you're there getting a style or a cut, the stylists are always so kind and attentive.

Gene Juarez at Redmond Town Center treated me like a queen. I received a gift card for "a day at the spa" for my anniversary one year. They pampered me there for hours! The atmosphere is so relaxing and soothing. The staff goes out of their way to make you the most comfortable you've ever been. While you're waiting to get started they soak your feet in warm water with essential oils. The also serve you a nice cup of hot tea of your choice. The services are truly heavenly from the eucalyptise shower to the sea weed wrap. The staff is very professional and caters to your privacy. The hot stone massage was one i'll never forget.
