Not bad for a municipal course

This City of Tukwila course recently underwent an extensive remodeling of the clubhouse and surrounding fairways and greens, resulting in a much-improved curb appeal. The course itself is fairly flat, but very wet, with many challenging water holes. A large creek runs right down the middle of the course, and two holes play over this hazard. The new clubhouse and restaurant are as first rate as you'll find. The biggest downfall are the adjacent railroad tracks (which are very busy) and rendering plant, whose odor in the warm summer months will DEFINITELY come into play.

I took some guests from Japan to the Foster Golf links and it was a great experience for them. It was challenging enough to be worth the trip but everyone in the group could also play. They had a great store for my guests to buy souvenirs and a nice restaurant to eat in afterwards. Conviently located off Interurban Ave, I didn't have to drive to Timbuktu to find a nice course.

The interurban golf course is centrally located and very nice. It is your classic local golf course: pretty challenging, nice views and a nice clubhouse. I would recommend this course to anyone in the area. It is well-maintained and a good value. If you're a pro, this probably won't be the course for you, but it is great for the beginner and advanced golfer and everyone in between.

The Interurban Golf Course is a an easy
access to most parts of the city and it
feels like you are a million miles from
Seattle. I enjoy the Green River meandering
thru it.
