This place has no taste for food. I'm not sure if they even use fresh vegetables or frozen because they were absolutely horrendous. I moved on to my overcooked not meduim rare filet mignon. My god 29$ for 3 bites!!! The "duchess potatoes" should have been called duchess garbage they were dry and unflavorful.

We like the waterfront the atmosphere, the wine and the food. Great restaurant for wine connoisseurs. They have a rotating selection of aperitif, dessert, and table wines, each can be ordered by the taste, the glass, or the bottle. They have a grazing menu of "fine food for wine lovers", They are located in the Chrysalis Inn and you can order snacks on the terrace, a cheese plate in the library or a multi-coarse meal in the dining room.

After checking into The Chrysalis Inn & Spa, we retired to their restaurant, Fino?s library for an amazing 1999 Amarone Corvina with a grilled crostini sampler and antipasti assortiti. The sommelier (also a chef) was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, walking us through several recommendations before we settled on a bottle even though we?d arrived just before closing. Though we were the last table, we polished the bottle and were even offered dessert. Coming from the bustle of NYC, the complete lack of pressure to leave was amazingly refreshing.

Pros: wharf view, wine list, very nice presentation, great service, funny kids menu

Cons: a train passes occasionally...didn't bother us at all
