Jefferson Park Golf Course was built in 1915 by the Scotsman Thomas Bendelow, one of America's pioneer golf architects. Other notable courses designed by Bendelow include Medinah CC and Dubsdread CC. Jefferson Park is situated in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle just minutes south of downtown. The course measures over 6,200 yards and features vistas of the city's skyline and Mt. Rainier. Jefferson Park also includes a nine-hole Executive golf course, restaurant and practice range.

What can you say; Freddie Couples started here so it must be good. Great views of down town Seattle. Great price for eighteen plus very well kept greens. Give it a shot.
PROS: Close to Down Town Seattle
CONS: None, Hit away!

Jefferson Park Golf Club is the first golf course I played at. For a public course it is surprisingly well maintained and managed. Greens and fairways are in great shape even though the volume of play in the hear of seattle is quite high.

Jefferson Park Golf won't wow you or push your game, but being centrally located on Beacon Hill in South Seattle and priced low, if you love people, come here - you'll have plenty of time to talk with someone while you wait for the hackers in front of you to finish their 120+ stoke round.

What Would Freddy Think?
by cutebirdie
I frankly don't care if Freddy Couples played here long ago; the course is pretty mundane. Nothing too special about the holes, and it's difficult to get a tee time unless you call exactly one week ahead. Can still be mushy during the rainy season. I believe this is a busy course, because what else is there between Beacon Hill and Renton?? I'd rather spend the gas and play at Maplewood in Renton or go north to Jackson or West Seattle. Also, the driving range here at Jefferson has to be the absolute worse I've been to. The clubhouse is nothing to write home about either.
Pros: It is centrally located if you are desperate
Cons: Driving range, lack of ideal tee times, clubhouse atmosphere

Way over priced! Only play this course if you don't have time to drive to a quality course. Driving range is awful.
