Flowers Bar & Restaurant

This is probably one of the few restaurants on the ave. that is roomy and comfortable. It is a great hangout spot to dine with friends and such. However, the food is limiting. I thought the food was okay, but my boyfriend at the time didn't like the food selections. It may not be a good food choice for a first date.

most places on the ave are loud and filled with frat boys. this bar is a cozy kind of bar where you can have a real conversation with friends. Great first date bar.

On a Saturday night you'll hear plenty of great music, Modest Mouse, 764-HERO, The Shins, Arcade Fire, Etc... The best part of Flower's is definitely the overall quality and pricing of the drinks. There is a happy hour (4-6) and nightly drink specials, NOT TO MENTION a vegan lunch buffet for the low, low price of only 7.99.

Flower's is the the best bar on the ave and I will fight anyone who disagrees...

PROS: Vegan buffet, great music.
