I went to this establishment recently and had a nice experience, however I was overcharged on my credit card. After speaking with management on this matter I was not listened to nor was I treated with any respect. I have been to this

My wife had herd about the meltingpot from friends at work and it seemed like it would be an interesting place to try out, so we went there for our first anniversary. When we arrived we were seated within 5 min so that was definitely good.

The happy hour is probably the best thing going at The Melting Pot. You get to try quite a few things for a little cheaper. Also some good coupons in some of the local mailers.

My Fiance' (then boyfriend) decided to have a surpise engagment party for me, yet once we walked in the door it was no surprise at all. The hostess asked if we were there for the "Surprise Engagment Party" NICEEEE! So I got over all that

We have been to this restaurant many times and in many ways, as a couple, with our son, and with friends. We enjoy it because there is so much to try and recommend to others. We have experimented with different sauces, cheeses, meats, fruits etc. It has never been the same twice. We also love that you can take your time and actually savor your meal without feeling like you have to hurry up and make room for the next party. Pricey? You bet. We couldn't eat there on a regular basis, but why would you want too? This is a perfect place for special times. Call ahead to inquire if you are reserving at a time that is busy with proms or graduation etc. I recommend doing this anywhere you go. Then you will be there during a 'normal' dining experience. There is a reason reservations are recommended here, it's wonderful.

adly, they just don't get it right. An exceedingly bulky menu with wine list embedded in the middle, a dizzying monologue from the server listing the options and sauces and methods and "dos and dont's" and an hour between salad course and the set-up of the fondue pots on a night with few diners. The meat portions are tiny and the $23.00 price is just the beginning. To have any options in the cooking process add another $8.00 for a pot of broth. Plan to spend at least $50.00 per person before drinks and gratuity. Parties of six are charged 18% gratuity even when there are three couples with three separate checks for the table. The service was so bad it was painful. The food was sad. Humor was the only saving grace. Don't go unless you have money to burn and need a great laugh.

Pros: You can eat in the martini bar much cheaper

Cons: If you like eating boiled meat, you might like this restaurant. The food was below expectation

Just go for an appetizer or dessert. Okay for the younger date thing. However, much better food for the dollars can be found at many other places in town. No one in our past visits to the Melting Pot have been very thrilled with the fondue dinner thing. TIP-Don't go if larger than 4 in your party, as the fondue doesn't work well for larger groups. Not worth the dollars for dinner (very spendy), in my opinion...but I really enjoyed the Cheese and Chocolate fondues.

Some of the previous posts are ridiculous. Like the person who said ?Warning: food is cooked at table BY PATRONS THEMSELVES (read: poor service disguised as a cultural experience)?. Are you kidding me? What did you think you were going to

Fondue anyone? This is the perfectg place to go if you want to get spendy and have great food as well! Of course you can just order a dessert and get some berries and fruit to dip in choclate. Yum! Be prepared to spend around $75-$100 for dinner/dessert for two here. If you can fford it, it's well worth it!

PROS: Food, service

Yeah, for fondue it's fine, but holy crap, if I'm gonna pay 80 bucks, I'd rather have a well cooked meal, not something that basically amounts to cook-your-own stew. Go there just for dessert--that was really the only part that was worth

Wow! Anyone who complains about the price of this place and the food portions should stick to "restaurants" that super size your meal for an additional 35 cents. My husband took me here for my birthday and what a fabulously fun and

Been there 4 times! GREAT food...all of it- the cheese fondue, the meat entrees, & the dessert is simply DIVINE (although white chocolate is thin & too sweet. Go with dark chocolate...definitely)! The salad is mediocre at best. Ambiance
