They know there sports, plenty of TV's to stay up with what is going on. They have an extensive menu, and the food is good. A little pricey if you are going to have more than a bit or few cocktails.

Had never heard of this place until two weekends ago. Was at my son's/nephew's b-ball tourney and needed a quick place to eat and feed the kids in between games. The food was good, and the service was great. We were there Friday and Saturday and really lucked out with out waiters, they were both very cool and great with the kids! The kids enjoyed the food as well!

The Rocksport seems to have made some changes in the last few months, and I'm not sure why. I used to like going in and watching games with my buddies who live nearby. They had a nice menu, with lots of good sandwiches. Now, it seems that much of that has changed. There are still the pool tables and tvs, but the menu has gotten limited and more expensive.
The drinks are still reasonably priced and it's still a fun place to go watch the game, I just wouldn't take the family there.

Always good live music, good bar food
by munny76
While I will agree to one point the review before stated that their are a lot of sports bars in Seattle, there are none like this one that I've seen in West Seattle. There's always good live music. The crowd is a little bit of everything and they do have good bar food. If the last reviewer has an issue with "the same female bartenders" maybe she shouldn't go to sports bars ANYWHERE...that's the combo that works! Beer, good looking girls, and sports! I'm female and used to bartend in sports bars and clubs. Maybe the sports bar scene just isn't for them, but my friends and I love this place regardless! :)
Pros: Good Music, Bar food & great staff
Cons: paring in West Seattle isn't the best

Blah, Blah

I don't know why people love this place. There is nothing about it that makes it stand out from any of the 1,000 other sports bars in Seattle. Same food, same beers, same female bartenders, same jukebox even. It's just rather boring to be honest.
Pros: sports
Cons: sports

Worth the Morning Headache
by tsyreen
I went to this place with some friends because we heard there was going to be a good band playing. It is certainly safe to say that I was more than satisfied. The staff was fast, friendly, and fantastic. The band was awesome. The atmosphere was very positive and upbeat. This place can be very loud, so if you are looking for a nice quiet place to chat with friends this probably wouldn't be the best place. However, it is a great to just go have a great time. It is definitely worth checking out and seeing for yourself.
Pros: Staff, Atmosphere

T.V.'s abound, babes aplenty, cigar friendly
by fuzzypugnutz
Busy, friendly hoppin' spot in 'Ol West Seattle. Get down to business, order a cocktail/food & let the flirting begin. Find a NTN board and get triivialized, or try your hand @ QB1. Cold beer, fresh wait staff & did I mention .... Cigar friendly !
Pros: good parking, cigar friendly, NTN-QB1-trivia
Cons: kinda dark, juke box off/game, no AED on premise

ROCKSPORT!!!! (say like "Supahstah!!!")
by backsnatch
Rocksport is a darn big place which is full of many tap macro/micro brews, hard alcohol, and wine. It's also got some damn good food for a sports bar! The prices are right on and the service is usually pretty good. The only downside is that it can get smoky. They've got some large screen and projection TV's to keep your attention. They've got darts and pool in the back area. The've got some live bands that play every weekend so the place can get crowded. You can also get pretty loud without anyone batting an eye. It's all you could want in a sportsbar. The best thing is that it's not a "pretty-boy sports bar" like Jillians. So throw on those sweats and grab your Camels and kill your afternoon drinking Alaskan Amber, Miller, or Jack & Cokes while watching the Sonics. It's as good as sports get.
Pros: many, many tv's, full bar, large
Cons: smoky (if you, are a nonsmoker)

BEST sports bar in Seattle
by Gatina
Breakfast on a Sunday morning should be on the list for single girls looking for single guys -- they fill the place, watching east coast broadcasts of every football game in the country, while the bar serves a great breakfast! I brought a group of 20 here for NTN trivia one night; the food and service is surprisingly good every time. I recommend the spinach salad. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive, and they are great with groups, too! Another night, something outside the bar's control zapped all electricity to the entire neighborhood, except for minimal emergency lighting. The bar manager announced that although they didn't have any record of our bills, that everyone was now on their honor and that they would continue the night with cash tills. Great attitude -- this is a bar where FUN is more important than money. Come to this place!@!@!
Pros: truly good food, NTN trivia!, best sports screens
Cons: none that i can see
