We have gone to this place for several years and have always been satisfied with their care. Today however was different. We had a health checkup for our 2 dogs 2 weeks ago. One of them became ill this morning and we wanted to rush him in to be seen by one of the Dr.'s they told us they were all booked up and they couldn't see him. Really? Just to take a look at him to see if he really needed to go to a specialty cllinic. Geeez. Work a little later. That is what good health care is all about. I like this place but now my husband is furious that they couldn't work a sick pet into their busy schedule.

North Creek Animal Hospital is a terrific place for pets and people alike. The staff have always been great. They are always happy to see us and are great about getting us in, even on short notice. I?ve been bringing my dog Lucy to see Dr. Alisa Huckell there for three years now, since she was just 9 weeks old and I wouldn?t take her to anyone else. Lucy is a fairly skittish dog and Dr. Huckell?s warm, caring manner does so much to help Lucy (and me) feel more at ease. It is very comforting knowing that Lucy is in such great care. Highly recommended.

I've been taking my cat to Dr. Alisa Huckell at North Creek for a long time. As he aged and developed multiple health problems, she did a really good job of treating his various aliments. Dr. Huckell was so thoughtful and caring in helping me decide treatment options when he was getting older and sicker. I had trouble letting go of my faithful companion, and at first I considered doing everything possible for him. Dr. Huckell encouraged me to not go that way, and to do what we could to keep him comfortable. She explained that I could be causing my cat more discomfort and spending money without a good chance of improvement. I really appreciated her honesty! When the time came to put him to sleep, she was so compassionate and caring, and she helped make this difficult experience as easy as possible. She will definitely be my vet when I get my new kitty.

This place is the best ever!! I have been taking my black lab Mocha there since she was six weeks old and now she is 6 1/2 years old. They are know her there and always help out so much. She has only been sick once in her life and they did so much for us and went out of their way to help me also from falling apart in that rough time. I read the other review and I'm sorry that they felt nickel and dime, but I have been going there so long and I have referred so many friends and never once heard anything but the best from everyone. I would never go anywhere else and would 110% recommend this place to everyone that cares about their pet.

I have my taking my black lab Mocha there since she was 6 weeks old. They have been nothing but top notch to us and everyone I know that goes there. I would never take my dog anywhere else. These people are the best ever and if you care about your pets life I would not go anywhere else. I love this place and 110% trust it. They care about your pet and they do the right thing. If anything they deserve a huge hug for always being there!!!

You really find out what kind of vet you have when faced with an emergency. My cat broke its leg a few weeks ago and we were turned away not once, but twice from this clinic. I initially took him to an emergency clinic and was told to follow up with my vet for surgery or amputation.

The receptionist at North Creek told me that they could not accommodate me until the middle of the following week and referred me to a neighboring surgeon in Kirkland. My cat ran into complications with his leg the following Monday and I felt like my only option was to put him down. I called this vet on a Monday afternoon and specifically told them I needed to put him down. They told me again that they could not accommodate me as they were just too busy.

I frantically searched the yellow pages for someone that could help me as North Creek offered no solutions. Companion Pet Care in Snohomish took him in right away. They talked me out of putting him down and to do amputation instead. They completed the surgery the next morning. About 3 weeks have passed now and my cat is up and walking around and in good spirits.

To add insult to injury, North Creek called me after my cat had his surgery and asked why the emergency vet faxed over his x rays. This was almost 5 days after the initial incident took place! I told them that I went some place else as they could not accommodate me.

They need some serious training for their receptionists on how to handle emergency situations. This place is also clearly understaffed and disorganized. I will never take my animals to this clinic again.

This place is very expensive and will try to nickel and dime you, even (or especially) during times of sadness. You may be ready to let your pet go, they might be blind, have dimensia, be almost 16 years old, and may start peeing in the house, but they will try to talk you in to more surgery and/or medication. Their procedure for assisting your pet in ending his life is excruciating. Find a kind vet that will come to your home and be honest with you, not try to get more money at a desperate time. There are many kind and comforting vets out there!

I just took my cat there for a hurt front leg. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. The Vet Dr. Jon Bruhn, DVM was top notch. I felt he did not try to over sell me on services that I did not need and he was great with my cat and very personable. I love this place!!! It is so comforting to find a vet you can trust.

I have been taking my cat to Dr. Alisa Huckell at North Creek for several years. She is a very caring, compassionate and competent vet. I was very grateful when Dr. Huckell correctly diagnosed and treated my aging cat's medical condition after several attempts with another vet that were unsuccessful. As a result of her treatment suggestions my old cat's quality of life greatly improved. I appreciate that she is willing to discuss various treatment options, and is responsive by returning phone calls and following up after appointments. The clinic is new, very attractive and spotless. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

This clinic is by far the biggest rip-off I have ever been to. They Miss-diagnosed my cat, refused to refund me and sent me on my way with a rude letter.. If you want to pay for the expensive office and fireplace this is the place to go to. The office staff is also rude not to mention the nasty letter I received from Dr. Bruhn.

This is a horrible clinic! My husband and I stopped taking our two dogs and cat a few months ago, after being regular clients for a year or two. The front office staff is incompetent. The office manager ?? Janice ?? is so incredibly slow and has no idea what she is doing. On multiple occasions, the visit with the veterinarian only took 10-20 minutes, but to pay and checkout took up to 45 minutes! Not to mention, when I needed to get my dog into the clinic, they were often too busy and didn??t care that they were busy.

The one thing I will say ?? is the vet, Amy Black, is amazing. She is so great!! We definitely miss her.

The front office staff ruin the experience and make going to the vet a huge chore. If you want friendly, fast service ?? don??t go to North Creek Animal Hospital.

I went to this clinic because I was told how nice and clean the clinic was. Well that was WRONG. There was fur and urine all over the floor I understand its a clinic so the fur is forgivable but the urine smell made me sick. I went into the clinic with an apointment at 12. I had to wait for 2 hours no one cared to tell me why. The lady's at the front desk I believe their names were Michelle, Julie and I believe when Michelle left for lunch a woman named Janice. Waved me away when I would come up to the desk to ask a question. When I got into the room finally. They sent in an extremly rude vet tech (I had enough common sence to write her name down it was Amanda.) I explained to her that it was my puppys very first vet apointment so please be paticent with her. She had the nerve to mumble and I quote " Well she better learn how to behave". I then told here that she would need her shots. She then informed me that the Vets would take care of it. I was relieved when she left. Now the vet that entered was extremly sweet and caring. Her name is Dr. Amy Black. She soothed and spoke to my dog as if she was her dog and let her sniff her equipment before using them on my puppy. When it was time for her to get her first shots Amanda entered the room again with another vet tech by the name of Sarah. They grabbed my dog from my arms shoved her down on the the examing table and gave her the shot. I asked them to be gental and they shove my 2 month old puppy into the table?!! When I was checking out I told the lady up front named Janice what happend and all she had to say about it was. " Well some dogs you got to be forcefull with them" I will NEVER go back to this clinic and I will be reporting them

I came home to find my cat having a hard time breathing. I rushed it right down there to North Creek Pet Hospital and they took me right in. Now I an not even a regular client there and I use one of the other local veterinary clinics but it was too far to drive considering how serious I thought this was. What really amazed me was I could see that they were really, really busy but the staff cleared the way for me and the the Dr. came right in. A quick examination and he found the source of the problem. My cat had something stuck in the back of its throat. The vet borrowed my pet and took it into the treatment room and started to administer oxygen and gave a little sedative and managed to extract the offending piece of plastic. Wow, what a difference. My cat was up and home that evening and it was so nice that they checked on him the next day and the follow up a few days later went well. I just want to thank them for being there and for all their help. I was not a regular client before hand but I am now. To me they are the best in the Bothell area and you should try them.

We had been to several veterinarians in this area because of a skin problem our pet had. We called and got an appointment the same day. Our pet had suffered from this problem for a long, long time. The veterinarian we saw was thoughtful, compassionate and informative. We were told what our options would be, the cost to diagnose and treat was given in an estimate and we were even given the chance to seek help with a specialist. We just felt so comfortable there that we let them proceed with the tests that needed to be done. What was thought to be an allergy by other veterinarians turned out to be a fungal infection. The treatment was safe and easy to do and we are glad to say that our pet is so much better now. They get our highest rating. Oh, by the way the facility is very, very nice unlike some of the other local veterinarians we visited.

My dog was a patient of this clinic, until we were treated bad one too many times. This vet office is ALWAYS too busy to see you. The doctors are good but the rest of the staff is awful! They keep you on hold a long time, are rude, and show no compassion. My dog needed to be seen and the best they could offer was "drop him off for the day and we'll get to him when we can." He's a regular patient of this office. I wanted to be there when the doctor saw him because of the questions that may arise.I was concerned so I took him to another vet for immediate attention on Friday (glad I did, he has an infection), but called up North Creek on the Monday to have them check him out (he did not improve over the weekend). I also wanted his regular doctor to see him. They said (quote-un-quote) "If the other vet saw him then they need to continue. We cannot see your dog." I felt terrible, as if we didn't matter to them - it was very disheartening. If you want a vet office that CARES, then don't go here.

My dog had been to several other vets and they couldn't seem to get to the cause of the problem. I was referred by a friend to North Creek and I have to tell you my experience there was incredible. The Drs. and staff were outgoing, friendly and very caring. They actually talked to me and treated me and my dog like long lost family. The facility was new and comfortable and relaxing and filled with the latest in modern veternary equipment. But as the Dr. told me it isn't the equipment or the building that makes the hospital special it how we feel about pets and people.
After a complete discussion concerning what my pet had and the options available for treatment ( they even said they could arrange a referral to a specialist if that is what I wanted) I elected to have the surgery performed there.
The surgery went well and I understood everything that went on and what I had to do.
I will continue to take all my pets there in the future.
By the way the fees were completely reasonable and totally explained to me and I was given an estimate before hand so I knew what to expect.
Go here with your pet, you won't regret it.

PROS: Wonderful staff & doctors
CONS: none

We received good care for our pets here, but it was getting quite expensive. The doctors and staff were very caring, but with multiple cats we decided to switch vets. They have a new facility that looks very nice.
