HORRIBLE! I lived there for a little over 2 years. When we moved in we had an AWESOME apartment manager, about 10 months before moving out it changed to Denise. There s two kind of people, people who are lenient and want to do what they can to help and people who want to catch you and take you for everything you re worth, aka DENISE. If you re a private person, don t expect her NOT to knock on your door whenever she pleases, if you ask her to please leave a note on your door she says she doesn t have to and threatens to evict you. Literally. When we did our first walk through with Jessie I asked PLEASE I don t want to be charged for these carpets because they are extremely dirty (in the 2 years of living there I refused to sit on the ground, and when my friends with babies came over I put a blanket down....the carpets were that bad.) Guess what, I got charged for ruining the carpets. I will admit there were a few pet stains in the hall way, but I got charged for stains in rooms my pets weren t even allowed. There was dents in the refrigerator that were written down on our first walk though, apparently we got charged for them. The apartment was filthy when I moved in. The toilet seats had cracks on them and were black stained from previous tenants...in which I got charged for when I moved out. I spent two days cleaning the cabinets, bathrooms, doors, trim...in which they said we didn t and we got charged for EVERYTHING. Every single thing we could have been charged for we were. The apartment complex is extremely expensive. With having 2 pets, a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom our rent was right over $1000!! I m sorry but it s no condo on the water. I got charged for not cleaning light fixtures. Again I m sorry I don t know anyone who gets a ladder and cleans light fixtures before they move out. I got charged $537!!!! Since $150 was a refundable deposit they subtracted that and I got charged $387. I m not kidding. This place is an absolute joke. AND there is zero parking. If you have 2 cars, you don t get 2 spots and have to take up one of the 15 guest spots. That s right only about 15 extra spots in the whole complex which means people are forced to park along the side, but wait Denise will have you towed. Slaps a sticker across your whole front windshield that completely impairs your driving and does NOT come off easily and has a time limit before you are towed. So if you have guests over, make sure you let them know cause if it happens enough times, you ll get evicted. I don t know what kind of Nazi regime she s running, but it turned into a hellish nightmare and I am very disappointed with their services. After calling Aaron Ridge s office to try and figure out why the heck we were being charged for so much. I understood some of the charges, but there were things we simply didn t do. For example, we asked why we got charged for a tear in the linoleum that was already there and written down on our first walk through this is actually what she replied with you didn t get charged for a tear in the linoleum... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!! Its directly on the list of things we got charged for. In black and white ink with her signature. After she refused to lower the bill at all we told her we re taking her to small claims court and she hung up on us. We ve been trying to reach her supervisor all day with no reply. I really recommend to everybody, do not move here. I would hate to see anyone else get subjected to the things we ve had to deal with. It isn t right and they re trying to steal from us. It s very upsetting and makes us feel utterly hopeless because there s nothing we can do but go to court and that s just way to extreme. They re also having such good move in deals right now because everyone is moving OUT. With our old amazing landlord the apartment complex was at 100% occupancy, now it s not even close. It really is for a reason so don t let the move in specials fool or entice you. The place is a scam.
