Lawrence Anthony Salon & Spa

Given this spa's location in posh Pacific Place, I was expecting a whole lot more. Spa Nordstrom it is not. But, unlike Spa Nordstrom, they have a hair salon, which is a definite point in its favor. My sister and I went there for a little pre-Christmas pampering. On their website, they were offering a great deal: 20% off services for first time customers! I tried their Spa Sampler package, which included a 30min massage, 30min facial and 60min manicure, all for $135 (then 20% off that). I wouldn't recommend the female masseuse I had. Can't remember her name, but it was just more uncomfortable than relaxing. And the room didn't muffle the sounds from the busy hair stations outside. The facial on the other hand, was quite good. They use the Dermalogica brand, which I really liked a lot. My esthetician gave me a lot of free samples to take home with me. The problem with this place is that it's rather small, and the main focus seems to be the hair salon. There are two tiny treatment rooms and the one manicure station and one pedicure chair are barely off of the hair salon floor. Quite noisy, and not at all relaxing. I would definitely go back for a facial, but not much else.

PROS: Location, great packages, helpful staff with no attitude.
CONS: Noisy, no place to check bags--had to lug all my things around with me.
