Me and my friends have been going to all Julia's location for years. The food is always great, nothing spectacular but for the price a very good value. Service reliable and friendly and we know some of the staff, because they have been there for years. Must be a great place to work for, usually in the service industry nothing is permanent. But I find it comforting to see familiar faces when I go to Julia's.

One of the better breakfast places on the eastside. Huevos Rancheros and Eggs Benedict are outstanding, but so are the many varieties of eggs, and, of course, their french toast. We have generally had good service, and are usually in and out, and well fed, within an hour.

We were 1st patron in cafe on Sat morning. Next thing we new, a family of 4 (2 noisy kids) were seated right next to us (chairs touched). We were reluctantly allowed to move away from noise makers. Server treated us like we were there to just annoy her. She was unable to answer the few questions we had about the menu (like was the blueberry compote in the pancake or on the pancake - she did't know). Food arrived and one breakfast was hardly warm - bacon was cold, greasy (remember we were the 1st patrons and in hindsight I wonder when the bacone was cooked); eggs were hardly warm; toast was cold; cantaloupe had gone bad - one bite and it made me ill; my friends pancake was just so so, the blueberry compote was served on the side and the server told her it normally is in the pancake . .why it came that way we don't know. The server only asked if everything was ok when she collected our money for the meal. I have eaten at 3 of the other Julia's and have never had an experience like this and would not recommend this cafe to anyone.

Julia's has great breakfast. Service is pretty quick - even when there is a line, you do not wait more than 15 minutes. Great family restaurant. Prices are not bad either. Parking is great!

We have had some nice breakfasts here both as a couple and with family. The service has been good each time and everyone seems to really like what they ordered.

Julia's is a lovely place to enjoy a nice and relaxing breakfast. They have lots of traditional breakfast foods with a homecooked feel. While the food isn't exceptionally special it's definetely quality.

Have been going to Julia's for years, and thought it's time to write why I go to this little cozy hangout. First of all i like they provide free wireless, which comes in handy with my busy schedule. Food is always very tasty, I love the whole pancakes and treat myself to them about ones a week. Also like that most of their stuff is made in house, like their breads, dessert dressing and the fish and chips, which is another one of my favorites. Try out this little place, friendly service and reasonable priced to top it off.

Pros: healthy, inexpensive

Came here with my husband and two children before a recent camping trip. Service was very friendly and fast. Food very well prepared and generous portions. My husband had a big omelet made with egg whites, i indulged in the French toast. The bread was absolutely delicious, the whole thing had a nice flavor of orange, together with the butter and syrup it was incredible. The waitress told us later that the bread for the French toast is baked in their in house bakery. Our kids had oatmeal and they split a cinnamon roll, also from their bakery. We will be back!

Ironically about 6 months ago I went to Julia's and came away from the experience thinking - "I won't come back here", but low and behold I forgot and found myself there for breakfast the other day. Unfortunatly nothing has changed. The quality of food continues to be mediocre, the service slow, the prices for what you are receiving are high (especially the coffee), and to really chap my hide they told me they don't accept the Microsoft Passport card for breakfast so I ended up paying full price for my poor and slow meal. They don't even have decent toothpicks! I should have gone to IHOP down the street. It would have been superior on all parameters.

I have eaten at Julia's for more than 20 years. My very favorite meal used to be their "nutburger" made from scratch served with home made french fries that were made with fresh potatoes. These no longer exist and in their place are a frozen supermarket veggie burger patty (with a poor supermarket white bread bun) and frozen french fries. This wasn't good. What a disappointment!

My father-in-law enjoyed his soup and his turkey sandwich.

The service was just fair.

Pros: clean

Cons: not what it used to be

.

What a dissapointment. Great location, cute restaurant, but when you get inside it is not clean, that means that the owners and people who work there are lazy and not clean. We ordered the food, price was ok, when I got my salmon I was shocked at how small the portion size was. My whole plate was one of the worst prepared meals I had ever seen. This is like school cafeteria food, they love to use that green leaf. Barely just a step above Dennys. Anyone who gave this rest. more than one star does not pay attention to qualtity and frequents Dairy Queen for dinner regularly. The vegetables on my plate where a mixture of frozen and fresh, America this is why France does not like us, we dont appreciate food and we let restaurants like this one serve us anything and you give it 5 stars. America wake up!

Pros: Quiche was soo soo

There webpage states that you can order a honey baked ham in as little as two days notice or up to one month in advance. So I tried to order a ham three days in advance. I was told "no,no,no" on the phone. I asked for a manager and he said I could in fact order a ham in as little as two days. i said I would like to order one to have in three days and he then said he couldn't do that, just after he told me he could. I told him about the webpage and he said it was a mistake.
I've eaten there and the breakfast is good, and so is the ham if you can really get one

Our friends took us here recently for breakfast. After a short wait we were seated at a sunny table right by the window. The menu selection was big it was hard to decide what to order. Our waitress was very helpful and she suggested to go with the whole wheat/buck wheat pancakes, filled with blueberries. The pancakes and the rest of our food was excellent and plentyful. Thank you and we will be back.

I took my mother here last week for lunch, this little restaurant was busy, but we were seated with no wait. Our lunch was great, we loved the soup and the fresh fruit served with the sandwiches. The service was fast and friendly. Too bad they don't offer dinner here.
We will be back.

Food = Nasty.. dry.. flavorless. I guess if you WANT health nut, taste nasty food, it might work for ya! But seriously, nothin' to brag about here. The staff was snobby and hardly smiled. Overpriced for nothing.

Visit the Julia's in Wallingford it is better. I live and work in Issaquah and keep trying Julia's in Issaquah thinking the food and or the service will get better but it doesn't. I just had the 1/2 grilled sandwich and cup of Asparagus Spinich soup. It was like a thick peppery brother with one green spinach leaf in it and the sandwich was 1 slice of cheese between two slices of white bread. It took too long to order, too long to get "hot" food and too long to get the waitress to come back and pay for lunch. Not recommended for business people that have just an hour for lunch.

Before a recent hiking trip we stopped here for breakfast. My coworker had recommended Julia's, so my friends and I gave it a try. We got there early and there was no wait for a table. My omelet was great, i was able to order it only with egg whites, the fillings were fresh and the plate filled with potatoes and toast. I loved the jam as well, not those silly wraped jelly packages that are tasteless, create garbage and all other breakfast places serve. This jam came in a jar and tasted like my grandma use to make it when she picked her berries fresh out of her garden.
My friends agreed this was one of the best breakfast we had. By the time we left the place was packed and a line was forming out the front door. We had a great hike and lots of energy.

then you'll enjoy Julia's. If you'd prefer your food to have flavor and be even modestly presented, then avoid this place. I've had three sandwiches there -- all of them bland, served on store-bought bread with deli-aisle meats (the exception being the honey-baked ham, which despite being listed as "mile high" on the menu, is almost hidden within the slices of bread). The "Big Bird" sandwich, which sounds like an appealing combination of turkey, avocado, cream cheese, had imperceptable amounts of the latter two and cost a hearty $6.95. I don't normally mind paying that much for a good restaurant sandwich, but this wasn't one of them. The decor of this restaurant is little more than cheap antiques in a dirty dingy setting (check out the carpets).

We go here at least once a week during our lunch break. We always get seated promptly and the service is fast and friendly. Our meals are always very tasty and the soups are great. Keep up the good work and we will be back next week.

Julia's has a great breakfast! Going on a weekend you may have to wait, but it's worth it. I always get the veggie omlet and it's fantastic! They have everything on the menu that you'd want for breakfast - eggs, pancakes, waffles, etc. The ambiance is very cozy. You feel like you are right at home eating in your own kitchen. It's a very welcoming atmosphere and the wait staff is very nice. A little trick to avoid the wait . . . call ahead!

I took my office staff here for a Christmas lunch. We called ahaed and they had a table ready for us when we arrived at Julia's.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our lunch arrived quickly and was very good. All my staff told me that they enjoyed their meals. I had the Fish & Chips, I have to say that it was the best I've had, down to the tarter sauce which is "made in house" told me the waitress. We will be back.

I went to Julia's for lunch with a friend. The service was horrible - we ordered drinks and never received them. The food was bland and mediocre. The ambience was non-existing. There are definitely better lunch spots to choose from.

after having been to the Julia's in Wallingford and Broadway my husband and kids decided to go to their Issaquah store.
We have always had wonderful food and service at these locations.
The decor in the Issaquah restaurant is very warm and inviting it reminded me of a little place we ate in Europe. Service and food were delightful, my husband liked the fresh ingredients in his Omelet. I was indulging myself on the French toast. We will definatly be back for more and let our friends know about this treasure.
