Jefferson Park Lawn Bowling

This is something you typically wouldn't do when you're fifteenteen, but I did it and it is a lot of fun. They have tons of regulars that go there and they are very nice and will typically give you clues and techniques to improve your lawn bowling. Their grass is flawless and the atmosphere is not comparable. The rates are very cheap and is in the city. You might think it's weird at first, but after a while it gets kinda addicting.

I was introduced to lawn bowling after volunteering at the community center next door. The people there were very enthuthiastic about teaching the sport to others. If you do not know what lawn bowling is, it is difficult to explain how it works, but the people there can do a good job. They told me some tricks about reading paths and "strategies", but nothing beats finesse. This is perhaps the largest lawn bowling club around the area.
