This guy is a joke, a scam and a con. Seriously I have never been so dissapointed or ever written a review unless it has been something positive but...I wanted to nwarn any of you out thewre to NOT trust this so called mechanic(hack) I brought my ride to this guy about some starting problems. Here is what he did; left my bike uncovered on the sidewalk in front of his house on a main street for 3 weeks saying his back went out and he was busy. Then he replaced my spark plugs @ 9.95 each, plug caps @ 10.95 each, $25 for shop supplies and $295.00 nto install them. "yep, you got a carburetor problem, your leaking fuel" I knew this. $442.00 to change my plugs and let my bride sit in the element. PATHETIC !

I spoke to Randy last year about an upcoming motorcycle purchase. He offered to give it a look over if brought it by. When I was not able to bring it, he gave me some honest buyer's advise. Even though he is a "backyard" mechanic, he seemed honest to me, I cannot afford the high priced specialists that wanted to evaluate my Kaw.

Randy is not certified to work on motorcycles in any way. This backyard mechanic will charge you top dollar for less then average service. He bought two new horns yet failed to fix the horn. He crushed the seal on the oil plug so oil dripped on to my pipes when I picked it up. The sprocket he fixed soon loosened up and as I notice this the master link he put together looks like it falling apart.
he said he would fix my problems, then later in the week said he hurt his back and now its been months. Ohh yeah 2,600 was my bill after a 1,500 estimate and this is all true he knows who I am.

After I got the bill I found out randy in not certified in any way charges over 100 percent mark up I paid 300 for a front fender that cost 129 he left out parts when the engine went back together said he would fix the mistakes (crushed gasket now leaking oil on to header, the left out parts, horn issue) then said his back hurt and I never heard from him again bike is very noisy since his repair charged me 2500 dollars 1500 in parts mostly gaskets and filters and brakes and fender

Pros: brakes worked fine

Cons: bad estimation of price

I stopped by Randy??s Cycle Service in Everett a few days ago - they have been at the same location all my life and I am 25.

I have a 1975 GL 1000 Goldwing that hadn??t run in 15 years. I talked to Randy and his wife Leigh, telling them that I did not have a lot money to spend on getting it running, and I told them that if I knew how, I could get it running myself .

They told me that they had just written a new book for the do it yourselfer that wanted to save money. The book is called ??How to get your motorcycle up and running the shop manual for all years makes and models?. I bought one - it was $60.00.

I was thinking that is a lot for a how to book. But they told me it would show me how to get my motorcycle running and save me a lot of money.. So I took their word on it ..

So I did something I had never done before: I read the book, it was an easy read and easy to understand. I followed the step by step procedure and in my spare time. Five days later my bike was up and going down the road. I couldn??t believe how easy it was and how much money I saved.

Randy and Leigh are great people to talk to; they also take their time explaining what you need to know.

These folks are at 35th and Rucker in Everett, Wa.

Their phone number is 425 339 5592

You can find there book at www.getitrunning.com or you can also get it at their shop.. And its on Amazon too.

Thanks Leigh and Randy ? Linda

I have a 1985 Honda Magna. I've had my bike for several years and I love it but I couldn't find anyone to work on it. All the places I phoned said it was too old. Then I heard about Randy's Cycle Service in downtown Everett.

I phoned them and explained what my problem was with my bike - loss of power and hard to start. Randy spent the better part of 1/2 an hour with me on the phone talking about what was probably the cause and explaining the different ways I could go about fixing the problem. I couldn't believe it! A shop that actually took the time to talk to me!!!

Well, to make a long story short, I followed what Randy said, and immediately my bike started running better. I took it in to him and he did a tune and service on it. It ran so much better that I was just amazed but he suggested I ride it for a couple hundred miles and if it was still not performing the way it should, then to bring it back for a carb rebuild. He even showed me how to remove the carbs from my bike, in case I wanted to save the labor (about a $200) difference in price. Needless to say, Randy's Cycle Service is getting my business from now on and I'm telling everyone how great they are.
