Take cirque de soliel, mix it with clowns (not bozo, more adult types of clowns), then add a 4 course meal created by world famous chef tom douglas, combine with amazing musicians, ambiance and comedy. You will then have an idea of an experience at Teatro. The cost is a bit high, but for a couple, it is less expensive than 2 Broadway show tickets and 2 entrees at a fancy restaurant (more amazing too)

PROS: Non stop amazement
CONS: Start saving now!!

We've been hesitant to go considering that it costs $80 a person, but finally decided to take out our mother-in-law and go there. We were pretty impressed with the place. It is in a historic restored building, and the furniture matches the period and creates nice atmosphere. The seating wasn't the best - they have a bunch of round tables, and chances are you are going to be seating at a table with someone you don't know. The show itself is hapenning in the middle of the room, so you should be able to see it regardless of where you sit. Alhough the room is not tiered, so the closer you sit to the center, the better off you are. During the show performers work around and will interact with you.

We saw several acrobatics/gymastics acts, a few clown acts, a few singing/dancing acts, a juggler, and a couple of other numbers. All performers were excellent. They also change them periodically. Some of them are travel all over the world, others work for Teatro Zimzanni but switch between the Seattle and the San Francisco locations. So you could go every few months and see an almost completely different show. They even have now a couple of performers that used to work for the Cirque du Soleil show "O" (in Las Vegas). So you can see they have a world-class act.

They also serve food during the show throughout the entire evening. I found the food good, and they made sure it did not interrupt the show.

I would definitely recommend seeing the show if you can afford $80 tickets. I thought it was worth the money.

PROS: Great show, world-class acts, nice historic building, great ambience
CONS: A little expensive at $80/ticket (when I went)

This place was wonderful. Constant entertainment that gave you the real feeling of being in the middle of an excellent performance. All this great entertainment, clowns, acrobats, trapeze stars, etc. along with a wonderful multi-course meal. The best thing about it was that you could eat one course and see performers, eat another course -- onto other performances. Dress to enjoy the entertainment and the environment. It's definitely one-of-a-kind experience that shouldn't be missed.

PROS: Great entertainment along with some really great food.
CONS: You can't pick your seats -- they seat you 'wherever'.

Teatro Zinzanni Dinner and Dreams is a must do! Very entertaining with several unique Tom Douglas courses to savor on. My family and I went around Christmas time and were entertained all around us. The preformers walk around and mingle in their own quirky way with audience members. The preformers remind me of those from Cirque de Soliel. It is pricey but well worth going once or maybe even twice for a special occasion!!

yes, the workers seem to try too hard to satisfy the customers. when i was at the box office with my boyfriend, the worker immediately gave compliment over compliment to both my boyfriend and myself. it was quite overwhelming. i thought, perhaps, this is how the place functions. i must admit though that she was very kind while we were purchasing our tickets. but she just asked too many questions. they were not persecuting questions, but still, it was a little over the top for me.

Teatro Zinzanni is such a great show! It's a cross between cabaret, circus soleil, and an abstract dream...top it off with some amazing food and you have experienced the perfect evening. I took my sister here for her Christmas present last year and she loved it. The performance area is quaint giving everyone in the room a perfect view of all the performances and close encounters with all of the actors. It's a fun time and the food is tasty. The decor is perfect for the show as soon as you walk through the front doors of the theatre. I highly recommend Teatro Zinzanni for your next celebration adn/or special event.

Message from Teatro ZinZanni

Teatro ZinZanni is a three-hour whirlwind of cirque, comedy and cabaret served with a five-course gourmet feast designed by celebrated Seattle chef Tom Douglas. The show takes place around, above and even on your table under an antique Belgian mirror tent.
