It snowed this week and I needed tires to handle it. I trust the friendly people at Les Schwab to check my car and sell me safe tires. I wish I had not waited for snow because I had to wait.

Monday morning I woke up to find I had a screw in my tire. I went to my computer and looked up my local Les Schwab Tire store. I noticed the reviews were not good, so I scrolled on down to this store. Bothell is where I work, so I drove there instead. Since I read the reviews and then decided to go to the Bothell store to have my tire fixed I thought it only right I come back and write my review. \r\nI was able to drive in on my tire and when I arrived I was shocked to see that they actually came out to my car to see what I needed. I thought that only happened on tv. \r\nThey fixed my tire and then did something that I thought was really nice. They asked to see my spare. The guy wanted to make sure it was aired up and in good shape. He explained that sometimes the spare gets neglected and is sitting in the trunk un-useable. He was thinking ahead. Do they teach that to their employees? \r\nThe manager was out of the store and this store ran like a well oiled machine. I asked to see him, but was told he was on vacation. I was a bit shocked when the guy I was working with pointed to one of the other managers. He was the guy who ran to my car (dark hair). I thought that was great!!!!!!!! The other man in charge (light hair) was working on a car. Seriously, they were working as hard as their employees. \r\nI see experience in this bunch and you can not fake such hard work and experience. It shows here at this store. I was looking at them while I waited, mostly becuase I had read positive reviews. I wanted to watch them and I did. \r\nIf the Les Schwab owners ever see this review: Please note. Your store is excellent. Your employees work hard. Your employees thought of me and my safety, even when they were not going to make money off the transaction. You trained this team well. Customer service is not dead-it is at Bothell Les Schwab and it's alive and well. \r\nI think my experience with them on Monday was the norm for this store. It wasn't a fluke I had a good experience. I will now come to the Bothell Les Schwab across from Chevron on Bothell-Everett Hwy. to do all of my tire needs. Worth the drive.

I drove into the Les Schwab store today pulling my trailer (camp) and thought there wasn't going to be a place for me to park. A man who worked there ran out and pointed me around back. All I needed was for someone to air up my trailer tires since it had been sitting all winter. Here is what I got: 1. The friendliest service ever. 2. Treated with respect even though I'm a woman pulling a camp trailer. 3. A person who cared about my safety. 4. Free popcorn.\r\n\r\nHere' is why I think he went above and beyond. He not only checked my air pressure in the trailer, he did the truck too. He then had me pop the hood. He checked the conncetion on the battery and generally looked everything over. He walked around the entire truck and trailer and then asked me if there was anything else he could do? He wanted to help me! He then asked if I wanted coffee or popcorn for my trip? Um.....service and goodies? I was shocked. \r\n\r\nHe smiled the whole time. I guess I'm impressed that he went a step or two farther than I even asked and I guess I'm impressed because he seemed happy to be at work. Refreshing! I've just had it with people in the retail world acting like they don't want to do their jobs and acting like I'm bothering them when I come into their stores. Geesh! Going to this LES SCHWAB tire store was just a breath of fresh air. I met someone who knew his job, did it well, seemed happy to be doing it and treated me with respect. He treated me like I was family and that he cared about my journey and not my money. Which he never even asked for.\r\n\r\nI will never buy tires anywhere else! The man's name was RICHARD. I'm not sure if he was in charge or an employee? If you go to the Bothell Les Schwab I would advise asking for him. I'm sure all the employees have as much knowledge & have great customer service, but I'd still ask for him. \r\n\r\nThank you Les Schwab for having such a great employee and thank you RICHARD. You made my day and didn't even know it.

Pros: Richard, customer service, knowledge, yummy popcorn

Cons: The front parking isn't great, but they have more in the back.
