They up-sold my wife on a service contract for $1295 for oil changes etc after she explicitly told them she did not want it. It went unnoticed as they hurried her through the contract and now we are stuck with an unwanted service contract, even after going down there and trying to deal with these guys in person. They are sneaky, and everyone needs to watch out for these sales practices.

I went to Honda of Burien several months ago, looking for a car. They talked a good talk and were going to find my car for me. I never heard from them, again. A month later, I was still looking and thought I'd stop in to check. They, again, promised to get back to me and didn't. THEN, here's the truly annoying part; I gave them my phone number and email address, with the promise that I would not be put on a solicitation list. They lied. I have been inundated with emails and phone calls, even after I talked with management, their IT person, the head of sales and the marketing person. They each promised to quit sending emails. FINALLY the emails stopped. NOW I get phone calls from some company that Raidon's hires to nag people into coming in. There's a reason that they have to beg for customers. Run from this place and go to Renton Honda or Lynnwood Honda- they totally outshine the Burien dealership in EVERY way - especially keeping their promises.
HOWEVER, back when I did get my car serviced there, the Service Dept. was great. Now, I wont be returning ever.

I have my 99 Odyssey service on Dec/27/2010. They replace the rear door actuator, passenger side slide door actuator, the passenger side door cylinder, remove the instrument cluster to fix the speedometer. I told them since the instrument cluster is removed out of the car please replace the instrument bulb too. They did so but at the end the double charge me on the labor of remove the cluster. After I talk to other Service Manager (Josh) he agrees to remove the double charge.

Here is the problem, once they works on the passenger side slide door the car start to rattle time to time depend on the road surface. I told Kathy (the original service manager) I never have the problem before and she told me how do I know. Dude.. what the heck is that? She took a test drive and agree the problem is there but told me that they will open up the door and I will have to pay if the problem is not relate to their work. Heck, how in the hell do I know they will tell me the truth after she try to double charge me on the labor of remove the instrument cluster!

I first met these folks with a flat tire. They fixed it in less than an hour with no appointment, and then charged less for the new tire than the "discount" places. A later warranty problem was fixed quickly and cheerfully with no trouble at all. A great shop.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my new Fit from Burien Honda. They were upfront about pricing, with no hidden costs or gimmicks. They were super nice and accomodating and I felt no pressure at all. When I went to pick up my car and do the paperwork, I was in and out of there in under and hour.

First of all, Ed Oliver in the internet sales department responded to my quote request within 5 minutes (I kid you not). He provided me with what they call a "TRUE price quote," which means no hidden/extra costs/fees or unwanted add-ons. At first, I thought, yeah sure...that's what they all say. But in this case, it really is! Ed's responses were always polite, straightforward and lightning-quick (I love speedy and tech-savvy customer service!). Speaking of tech-savvy, I was also impressed by the "live chat" feature they have on the Burien Honda homepage.

- Second of all, the price he quoted was below TMV...now for a popular car like the Fit with very slim negotiating room, that's a great deal!

- Finally, we agreed on a deal with the specific options I wanted. He was totally accommodating and very courteous and timely about everything. Just fantastic service.

4. Burien Honda detailed the car (wax & clean), added wheel locks, and filled gas tank for free before I picked it up. Ed walked through the features and functions of the car with me. He even showed me how to check all the fluid levels and basic maintenance tips. I really appreciated his thoroughness and willingness to answer any questions that I had, and addressed all my needs.

5. The F&I part also went super fast and super smoothly for me. I felt no pressure at all to buy any extras that I didn't want. He was courteous and answered any questions I had.

- Because I have a hectic work schedule, Ed promised that he would have me in and out in less than an hour. He kept his promise. They were thorough yet efficient at the same time.

My wife took our Honda CRV in to Burien Honda for a regular oil and tune up. The VERY NEXT DAY, we brought the SAME CRV in to repair a broken part (I don't want to say what it the part was because it might identify me). When my wife returned to pick up the car, they told her that her transmission fluid was low and they tried to charge her for it. She replied out loud in front of all the other customers, "That's funny. I just had a tune up the day before we brought it in!" A manager from the back who overheard this came out to the front desk, smoothed things over, and didn't charge us for the transmission fluid. A simple mistake? You decide. :(

Although a small dealership, their sales staff are well trained on customer service - especially Ken. Amir was our sales person first time around and we are happy that he didn't try to pressure us into buying anything on the spot. We met Ken our second time back, and he also gave us a no-pressure buying experience and was very honest about prices. We were shown the cars we needed and no attempt was made to sell us things we didn't need. The only drawback to this dealership is its small selection. Definitely go here first if you are out looking for a car.

The people who work there are very friendly and I absolutely had no pain getting the check up done. I'm new to this area, so I did some research online. I live closer to Renton Honda, but the review was quite bad, so I decided to go to Burien Honda Service to have my car checked up. They have free loaner cars as well, and that was really helpful. My wife and I were able to get our stuff done while our car was maintained by them. I'm very happy that we found this place. The free loaner car was an excellent idea because we got to drive another kind of Honda car and gave us some ideas of what to buy next. We've been driving Honda for the last 7 years, and the car just keeps on going!

PROS: Friendly and good service with no pain. They play no game either.
CONS: I can't think of any.
