No matter what type of decoration or theme you are looking for, you will likely find it here. I come to this store whenever I need a costume, party ideas, favors or decor of any kind. It's a favorite around my office for finding unique birthday themes to decorate offices. The store is large and have resonable prices.

This place is just incredible.
They have any sort of party supply you could need... down to the obscure.
It is a place to get the "foundation" for your party. I would go here before driving all over town wondering if certain party stores will have what you need.
The prices are for the most part reaonable however you will find yourself spending alot because there is just too many good things to choose from.
We have had several themed parties and have always been very happy to our buys at Display and Costume.

I am a frequent customer of this particular store because they fulfill a large part of my decorating, party-planning, crafting and special events needs.

This large (almost wherehouse-like) store is well organized and easy to navigate through. The aisles are wide and clear which makes it easy to get through without much fuss (except during the Halloween rush) and the items are easy to find. If you can't find something, a staff member is always more than happy to assist you (I've never had a problem with finding someone to help me, and sometimes they approach you first and ask if you need their help).

I like to shop here for ribbons for my craft projects, gift wrap, balloons for parties, party favors, special decorations and signs and costumes for Halloween. They even carry rubber stamps and scrapbooking supplies as well as quite a selection of fabrics if you plan on sewing your own costume.

For ballons "in bulk," they conveniently rent out tanks to help you inflate a large number of balloons without having to spend a large amount of money. Another great bonus is that they do offer a discounted program for licensed businesses, which is great for craft-based small businesses.

On off-season times, you can find some really good deals on items. During the Halloween rush, though, you should expect to deal with serious crowds and some extent of disorganization/chaos. Parking can also be rather limited during this time.

PROS: The go-to store for parties/events, cheap prices, informative staff
CONS: Sometimes difficult to find parking, Halloween rush can be chaotic

I have to disagree with all the reviews about this place. It's a great place to go and look around for costumes and to have fun doing it but when it comes down to paying money for their costumes; they charge a pretty penny. Other party decor are on the pricy end of things as well as their christmas decorations, which are available all year. If you are looking to throw a big party,this would be the place to go - if you're looking for a quick and cheap costume, I'd stick to other party stores.

Display and Costume is one of my favorite stores in Seattle - not only to shop in, but to browse in as well! They carry all sorts of goodies - from fabric for make-your-own costumes, to masks, face paint, wings, and much more. They also carry an extensive selection of party decorations relating to themes (Tiki, Pirate, etc). Parking is awful, especially when it gets around a major holiday, so be prepared to find somewhere else to park. Otherwise it's a great store for all your costuming needs!

If you are having a party , or a wedding, or any type of event check them out first! Aisles and Ailes of party supplies for every theme or type of event you can dream of. Prices seem as good or better than other party stores, but the selection is much better. They also handle rentals of party equiptment.
Oh, they have costumes too! Lots and lots of them for sale or rent.

What I love about display and costume is not their selection of costumes (which is HUGE) but thier variety of crafts. They have a wide variety of fabrics and paints and anything else you might need to make your own, unique costume. When you have that crazy halloween costume costume idea, Costume and Display will be the place to go.

I think this is the only place I go to get costume accessories and ideas. The large space allows for many choices. I have always been able to grab a few things for the Halloween party. The employees are always helpful. There are also a section for material/clothing, makeup, kiddie costumes,adult material costumes, masks, etc.
If you live fairly close I would reccommend this as the place for costume stuff. There is also another section of the store that is unrelated to costumes,but I have the faintest idea what it is. Let me know sometime.

Having a party? Or need a costume? This is a one-stop shop, with everything you need. I throw lots of parties, and you can find decorations, plates, streamers, everything for just about EVERY holiday. It's pretty crazy. Come Halloween time, this becomes a beehive of activity. Anything you need - they have. And the long lines go pretty quickly. Good customer service. Avoid the parking lot during holidays and just park on Roosevelt - you'll be happy you did. They also have a wedding section, and rentals.

Great Costumes and more! No matter what time of year, you can always find a costume at Display and Costume. They have all of your costume needs such as make-up or even the perfect accesories to make your entire outfit just right.

I'm in need of pirate garb, and I know that this is the place for me to find what I need. Without a doubt, this store will have what you need. The place features decor and costumes on any subject you can imagine. And don't worry to much - the products range in price from cheap to WHO WOULD PAY THAT MUCH FOR A WIG. The earlier you go before Halloween, however, the better since the stuff sells fast.

This place has more than just Halloween stuff. They have an amazing collection of stuff for Christmas too. But, the place really goes wild in October. Even the parking lot and outside of the building get into the spirit. They have mechanical monsters everywhere! Blacklights, plastic rats and spiders; EVERYTHING you could ever want for haunting your house. They also have a gigantic costume section.

PROS: No refunds on seasonal items.
CONS: not enough parking around Halloween
