Quilt Works Northwest is a GREAT Place to Shop for Fabric.

by Elaine K.

QuiltqorksNorthWest is a GREAT place to shop for Fabric or Beads: Friendly, Helpful people. Nice quality of lots of kinds of quilting fabric. Two Very GOOD Repair men. I purchased a Repair Policy for one of my Bernina machines. I've taken it in to QuiltWorksNorthWest MANY times for little problems I was having. . .NO CHARGE to me.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND QUILTWORKSNORTHWEST to interest shoppers. Just be your casual FRIENDLY self & you'll be well received in the store.

Kind of Small

by Suzie H. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,121

This shop is rather small. They do have a lot packed in though. I love the tuffet pattern and class and wish I lived in the area and could take this class from them.

Not friendly

by Anonymous

This store fall into the elitist category. The owner and the employees are not helpful and make beginners feel unwelcome. The store believes it is the best quilting store anywhere but this is not the case. The classes are very expensive and unfriendly. From the moment you walk into the store you can feel what snobs they are and there is an attitude of "we are the greatest, who are you, you certainly cannot be as great as WE are."

It is a very small store, it is very claustrophobic, and everything is very, very expensive. Parking is a problem and their elite attitude of superiority does not make it worth going into this store for any reason. There are so many great quilt stores in the area that you will be better served and happier shopping in other places with better prices and bigger selections. If you are looking for the friendly, warm attitude you would expect from the quilting community this is not the place to find it. I'd rather drive 2 hours to a friendly store than shop at this place.

Beautiful Fabrics

by Robin S.

This is a great store with beautiful fabrics and a friendly and helpful staff. It's hard to go in the store without buying something.
The classes are varied and a little pricey, but you pay for the expertise.
