My tractor broke down and I needed them to replace a belt. They told me it would be 2-3 weeks. I said fine. It was FOUR weeks until they even looked at it or ordered parts. It was SIX weeks before I received my tractor back!!

When I talked to the mechanic he said, with attitude, "Well I took a week off!", and then continued with "I've got 72 other tractors here too and they all need work!". I was floored... that's his job. I'm dumbfounded why a company that big, that sells new tractors and does repairs too, only hires ONE mechanic. Furthermore, why are they so bad at scheduling. If it's going to take 6 weeks to get a belt then tell me. But don't promise 2-3 weeks when it's going to be 6. And then to show so much attitude...

They are the only game in town and act the part. They do not care about their reputation nor their attitude.

I agree fully with a previous reviewer who said that they were condescending. I've never been so frustrated with a company.

I dropped off my mother's John Deere Riding lawn Mower Tractor for service. I asked the gentlemen behind the counter to come outside and take a look at the lower damage to the unit. As he inspected the damage I explained to him that we would need an estimate so we could decide whether or not to have work performed on the tractor. He replied that was not a problem. 2 weeks went by and finally I recieved a call from the mechanic. He said that the parts would need to be ordered and I asked him what the estimate of repairs would be and he said just under $200.00 for all the parts & labor. At that time I asked him to have the blades sharpened as well and he said no problem. When I went to pickup the unit the bill was $341.90. I explained that the cost was much higher than what I was quoted over the phone and he said that I was never told "under $200.00" in fact the gentelmen behind the counter told me I never asked for an estimate before work was to be performed. This is simply untrue and he said that it is their word against mine. I paid the bill because I could see that they were dishonest, The mechanic that called me was at the counter as well and he said- "I never told you under $200.00" The gentelemen behind the counter also said that the work order did not reflect that I asked for an estimate. They would NOT provide me a copy of the work order and said that the work orders are only for them and not the customer. I even offered to split the difference with them even thought both gentelemen were clearly being dishonest.

Brought in equipment for maintenance (that I had purchased from the location), and felt as if I were belittled for the equipment problems that were present. Will not purchase products from there again.

After having a really long wait of six weeks last year and really bad attitude I was not going to return. However I was willing to try again due to the economy and putting money back into my community and small business. Again I was told a two week window because it was early in the season. After two weeks I called for status of mower and was told that they were waiting on a part and it would be in that Friday and ready in PM. I waited five days to make sure and received no calls so I expected everything was fine. I went down to pick up my mower and was told my part was back ordered when I asked if any idea of when the part would arrive I was told "that's a Doug thing and he is off today, with attitude. I said it sure would of been nice for a follow up phone call and then I was told we don't call anybody again with attitude. Finally I requested for someone to call me tomorrow (hopefully Doug) with some kind of answer. So now its three weeks and counting and I'm not sure if I will see my mower this summer or not. After this I will reconsider my options. Its really a shame when you are treated like this in your own community and a local business. I really hate to take my business out of the area but I'm left no choice.... I will update when and if I get a return call...
