Seattle Center Rides

by Clarice J. | insider Insider | Rank: 18,521

Fun Forest Amusement Park hasn't changed much over the rides, in fact it seems my kids are riding some of the same rides I did as a child. Don't make the mistake of just buying a few individual ticket rides. It takes at least 2 tickets for each ride and they add up quickly!

Six Flags veterans won't be impressed with much of the amusement park but it is entertaining for the very youngest members of your party. Bathrooms can be hard to find so try and scout them out ahead of time so you don't have an emergency situation.

PROS: low tech fun for the kiddies
CONS: Expensive

Not Disneyland but...

by Amanda L. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 11,270

If you are visiting Seattle or even live here then I would recommend going to the Fun forest Amusement Park for state fair-like fun. This plays is located in the Seattle Center and offers many rides for the kids and adults in the family. I love the carousel with the antique looking horses, just beautiful and fun for the kids. They also have laser tag, miniature golf, videa arcades and games for prizes. The place is open all year, 7 days a week.

Few rides

by Michael L. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,472

The Fun Forest Amusement Park at Seattle Center is too much of a gimmick in my opinion. If you go to a real amusement park, you'll have much higher quality rides and the prices won't be much different. The rides here are very old, and I can't even remember the last time a new ride was installed. The arcade might be worthwhile if you are looking for skilled opponents, but stay away from the expensive laser tag.

Nice Rides, Good Family Fun

by Eric K. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 9,431

This place has been around a long time in the City of Seattle my favorite ride is the mini roller coaster, Its the perfect place to bring your dates, childeren to. Every child must go here once especially if you live in the Puget Sound area. I would not recomend the games though as its very hard to win and in my opinion is a scam.

PROS: Good for Children, Dates
CONS: Not that many rides, very small

A fun time at the Fun Forest!

by Cinnamon H. | insider Insider | Rank: 25,414

When ever we go to the Seattle Center we have to stop by the Fun Forest! Kids and adults can enjoy the rides and games. Its like a mini fair, but with out the animal smell! While you are there dont forget to rider Windstorm! Kids will love all the fun kiddy rides. Mine love the Merry Go Round! Prices are a little expensive, but that seems to be normal with any Amusement Park.

This Carnival is ALWAYS in town!

by Lisa M. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,654

A climbing wall, rollercoaster simulator, lazer tag, bumper cars, carnival games, a small arcade, mini golf, and 8 other major attractions (my favorite is Wild River - very similar to the one at Disneyland) are all waiting to entertain you downtown at Seattle's Fun Forest. Located just under the Space Needle, you can't miss it!

The rides are fun, and it's a great place to take family and friends who are visiting from out of town.

It is best to visit in the summer when you can get ride bracelets for only $20.00 and you can use them for up to 9 hours of unlimited rides. Otherwise you won't get that deal, and the hours of operation in non-summer months are limited.

PROS: Fun rides, something for everyone
CONS: A bit expensive

Fun for the kids

by Justin H. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,866

The Fun Forest is in the heart of the Seattle Center. It's a small, urban amusement park with miniature golf, bumper cars, video games, laser tag and more. Parking is expensive, especially during special events. You can walk to dozens of great restaurants.
