5 Stars: Yeas Wok is a The best Cinese food in Newcastle! (by Todd M.)

Yeas Wok serves great Chinese food to the local Newcastle community. We usually order Dinner A for two and substitute the Kung Pao Chicken for the Beef and Broccoli with Hot and Sour soup. We always do take out, as the restaurant is very busy and the meal is usually available in 30 minutes. Plan on a long wait if dining in, but we recommend you get it "to go", the foo is always warm and tasty.

5 Stars: You wouldnt guess the best Chinese food is here (by Leslie L.)

Unobtrusively located in a strip mall in Factoria is a very authentic Mandarin restaurant. (Note how packed it is with Asians, and how PF Changs never is!) The food is family style so plan on ordering a few dishes for dinner and sharing with your group. They have both English and Chinese menus, but you can get authentic dishes using either. The prices are very reasonable. Mandarin cuisine is surprisingly difficult to find (most Chinese restaurants are Cantonese), so take a chance and try some things you havent seen elsewhere, such as the pea vines or braised fish dishes.

4 Stars: Delicious! (by Lynne O.)

Rarely will you find this strip mall location uncrowded. It is worth the wait to enjoy their broad menu at more than reasonable prices. The staff is attentive and pay attention to special requests such as no MSG dishes.

5 Stars: Best Chinese Food in Puget Sound! (by M G.)

Yeas Wok is my FAVORITE Chinese restaurant by far, and I think many more will agree because this place is always packed. Not only is the restaurant busy, but I think there are just as many people ordering take-out because there usually is at least a half an hour wait before you could pick up your food.

When my husband and I go there, we always order the hot and sour soup and basil snails (dont know the real menu name.) Their hot and sour soup is one of the best I had, they include a variety of mushrooms and seafood in it. The basil snail is also spicy, and the sauce is great over the steamed rice.

Their take out wait time is half an hour, but dine in service is very quick, which I am glad. The wait time for a table is usually so long that by the time you are seated, you are starving, so you appreciate the quick service.

PROS: Excellent Food and good service.
CONS: Very busy so wait can be long.
