This review is for the RV Sales Department. We had a very bad experience with what were deceptive and misleading promises regarding a trade-in.
We had a small trailer and wanted to upgrade to a Class C motorhome. We did not originally intend to trade in the trailer because we had a buyer who had committed to buy it from us directly. We went to Roy Robinson to look at RV's with no intention of buying until we had completed the private sale of our trailer. (Our buyer was out of state for eight days.) We found an RV that we liked and our salesman - Ray Arsvold - suggested that if we traded our trailer in to him we could reduce the sales tax on the purchase of a new RV by approximately $1000.00. I told him that we had committed to sell it already and he said that he'd "sell it to them for the same price I negotiated with them" and it would give us the sales tax credit. It sounded like a win-win for everyone so we went ahead and made the decision to buy the new RV knowing that our buyers would still get the trailer that I had committed to sell them.
Imagine my surprise when I called the salesman later in the week only to find out that "another salesman already sold" our trailer and it was not available to sell to our previously committed buyer! I asked him why he failed to tell us at the time that he had no authority to hold the trailer and he said he wasn't the boss. My position - stated repeatedly - was that all he had to do was inform us that he could not guarantee that the trailer would be there when they came to make the purchase.
Bottom line. We bought a $100,000 vehicle from Roy Robinson. We traded in a trailer on GOOD FAITH that they would fulfill the resale agreement made with our salesman. They FAILED to act in good faith with us.
Had I known that he would not be good to his word I would never have included the trailer in the trade. It was a wash anyway as the trade-in value was the amount owed on the trailer so it had no impact on our purchase price of the new RV.
This was a clearly deceptive practice for their own benefit and profit. Every business has the right to a reasonable profit but they also have an obligation to deal with customers in a forthright and honest manner. Roy Robinson failed to meet this minimum standard of ethical business practice.
Do yourself a favor and GO ELSEWHERE.

We went to Roy Robinson RV because of its high ratings and were not disappointed. All the people we worked were friendly and professional and none were pushy. They seem to know that treating people right is the best service you can give. We had our questions answered and bought a great 5th wheel at a reasonable price. We worked with Dominic. He was good at answering our questions and taking care of what we needed. He has been helpful in reminding us to take advantage of our 30% special for what we need, before it expires.

We just purchased our new 2016 Navion 24J from Tod Sorenson. Our experience working with Tod was fantastic. We spent an entire day evaluating the View and Navion models and taking test drives. Tod gave us excellent support, allowed us to ask endless questions and gave us all the space we needed to think through our decision. Once we made the purchase, Tod coordinated the delivery process. The Navion was ready right on time and we recieved a very thorough walk through. All of our dealings with the Roy Robinson RV dealership from Tod, to the Parts and Service reps, to the finance folks have been outstanding. I would recommend Roy Robinson RV without hesitation, and already have.

The customer service was very friendly, very good smooth transaction. The RV I got was very clean, however the generator was working smoothly the first day I picked it up, then unexpectedly the generator stopped working like it was supposed to. I don't blame the salesmen for this. Other than that, I would recommend to buy another RV from here.
