We stayed at the Forks Motel while on a trip to see the "Twilight" related sites in Forks and at First Beach. While this is not the newest hotel in town, and does not have the complimentary continental breakfast, it is worth checking out. This hotel is right across the street from Forks High School (we could see the school sign from our room) and several gift shops along the main street. Good location. Ideal for families or larger groups that want to stay together. There is an outdoor pool, but it was not operating when we were there in April. The unit we stayed in slept 6 or more comfortably for a reasonable price which was a low base price, then a small fee for each additional person in the room. In addition to the queen bed in the living room, there was a seperate bedroom with two additional queen beds. There was also a large bathroom and a full kitchen with stove, oven fridge, and sink. Some basic dinnerware and cookware is also provided. This would be a good place to stay for an extended stay while checking out the rainforest, the coastal beaches, or all the "Twilight" sites around Forks. Being able to cook some of our meals worked well, as a lot of the restaurants in town close early in the evening.

Recently we were visiting the Hoh Rain Forest and stayed overnight here. We got a great deal for a kitchen suite. It included a kitchen, 3 queen size beds, 1 bathroom all for ~$120/night for 5 people. My main complaint was that the weathering strip under the door was missing, so there was a gap that bugs/air could go in through. I tried not to think about that. They do not have a/c, but we were not hot w/the windows open at night. There is a grocery store down the street, so we bought breakfast food and drink (they do not offer breakfast at the hotel) and used our microwave and fridge for them. They also have a pool, but we did not use it. Overall the room was clean and sufficient. We were pleased, especially for the price.

Pros: great deal

Cons: office closes at 11pm (no check-ins after that)
