We went on Friday night with a group of 12 and were in the VIP lounge area! It was fabulous!

From the minute we walked into Keys we were met with hospitality! We had a server who was dedicated to making sure that we were having a good time - Sarah is the best! The drinks were yummy and the food delicious. And, the main event was phenomenal.

The piano players are great! They are very talented and really work to engage the audience in the show - after all, it is an all request, sing along, clap along kind of show. We heard EVERYTHING: Cher, Britney, Journey, Lyrnd Skynrd, Michael Jackson, Nikki Manaj, Jerry Lee Lewis, B-52s, Kenny Loggins, Guns N Roses. It would be easier to tell you what we didn't hear - bad music.

The interior is fresh and comfortable. The VIP lounge is wonderful! If you're going to celebrate, I highly recommend going all the way and booking it! It's so worth it - comfy couches and chairs, a table to keep drinks and food on. And, you get shout outs from the piano player. (Hey, everyone likes their moment in the spotlight.)

Even if you don't have a special occasion to celebrate, make this a destination for a night out. Good food, good drinks, good entertainment - just add friends.

I love chopstix. I really do. Unfortunately, they have some serious problems with their reservation system.

I called before New Years Eve to make a reservation, and no one returned my call. Being dedicated to making it happen, I called 3

Chopstix is a great place to hang out with friends! Decent Food and great service with a rockin dueling piano show. Tip the players about 5 bucks and they'll rock your song for you. It's really fun to singalong!

I always have an awesome time every time I go to Chopstix in Seattle. They have a great dueling piano show with talented players and great bartenders that get you drinks quickly! I am a regular!

This place is almost too good. If it wasn't so amazing, maybe it'd be easier to get into on the weekends. The music obviously is what sets this bar apart from others in the area. But the drinks and food are pretty spectacular as well. Definitely worth the wait on occasion.

I went for New Year's 2009 and was over charged on my bar tab a lot by $100. So be careful and just pay cash for each drink. They also never mentioned a tax/gratuity fee on a reservation I made. I paid $90 to get in and they ran my credit card for $114. So just be warned to ask questions before you purchase. I live in LA and I would not recommend this for a New Year's night out. The website makes you think the place is big, but actually it's very small.

The guys dueling on the pianos played the same weak songs heard at any piano bar (no originality). At times they couldn't play songs at the correct tempo. One of them was even rude to me when I requested a song he didn't like playing. On top of that, you have to pay a steep cover charge. Don't bother going here. It's not worth your time.

Cons: Parking, layout of the bar, cover charge, lame piano players

A group of us girls went to have a good time. We got there at 8:30 and we were already packed in like sardines. We had to stand along the wall, which was alright, but the wait staff kept shoving us to get out of the way. Then we were fondled by the influx of 21 year old boys who were dancing around like it was their first time drinking. The singing staff was great, and knew a lot of good sing along songs. Despite feeling like I was in an MRI tube, we managed to have a good time, until the 16 year old waitress managed to lose my credit card and told me "why don't you check your purse". I was livid, and demanded she find it, NOW. She finally found it 30 minutes later with some other waitress. I was so angry. They had already put their own tip on it, so I left zero more. Bottom line, unless you like being in an MRI tube and being fondled by over-zealous boys, try to get a table, but good luck!

Choptix's "Ladies Night" brought my and a group of friends out last Thursday evening. What a terrible experience! The place was only half-full, but we rarely saw any service at our table. Going up to the bar was no better - none of the 4 bartenders seemed interested in pouring anyone any drinks at all! Despite generous tips and a small crowd, this poor service continued throughout the night.

While waiting at the bar, I struck up a conversation with the General Manager working that night. I told him I was very unhappy with the service. He said that I had no right to talk to him about those issues, and that I would be asked to leave if I complained to anyone else. I couldn't believe it! I will never go back to Chopstix.

If you go, be prepared for a major headache (from the service, not from the weak drinks). If you want a piano bar that won't let you down, check out 88 keys in Pioneer Square.

My bridesmaids took me here for my bachelorette party and it was a pretty good time. It was a little small and crowded, but at least they had a dance floor. The piano players weren't skeezy with me like I've seen them do to bachelorettes at other piano bars, but the other bachelorette there that night took her shirt off of her own accord. It was also a Thursday night and I couldn't believe how big the crowd was that night. They clearly have a dedicated crowd that comes there often. People were very friendly, but that might have had something to do with the outrageous crown I had on my head. I thought the drinks were pretty strong, or at least a lot better than what I've had lately in Seattle. It is very loud, though, and almost impossible to hear your friends. A good place or a guys or girls night out but don't expect to talk to your friends much.

Chopstix is not nearly as fun as it used to be. What happened to the crazy fun bartender that used to make out with all of my friends. I hear the people that run it are really cheap and what better way to save money than on pour cost. I read some of the other reviews and it's obvious that Dolce and Dustygirl are employees or friends or something cause the drinks are totally weak now. The guy that dances on the stage is pretty funny and I like how the piano players aren't money grubbing like other piano bars I've been to. The bar's not as cool without the crazy bartender, I used to get trashed for like 30 bucks and have a great time. Not as cool as it used to be.

I stopped in to Chopstix for the first time on a Saturay night. $7 cover and a fairly big crowd. The two pianists on duty were doing a good job of trading off songs, and the audience was mixed between paying attention to the music and shouting at each other. This is very much a mid 20's to mid 30's kind of crowd that does shots of strange colored things sold in plastic tubes and in plastic syringes. From what I could see, the waitresses were working hard, and I was particularly impressed that they had two additional pianists who took over from the first team without any break in the energy. This is a fun place to go, and to sing a long, but don't expect to have meaningful conversation with people, and if you are sensitive to noisy environments, probably not the place for you.

I recently went to Chopstix again for the first time in over a year. The food was the same...pretty good for a bar. The drinks were the same...decent. The entertainment was quite a bit different. Though I recognized one of the players from the last time I had gone, I was a bit disappointed at the entertainment this time around. Maybe the club was testing out new players, but I really missed the quality show that I had seen over a year ago. By no means does this mean that I am not going to go back. I still had a pretty good time, even with the mediocre piano players.

I went for a friend's birthday dinner and had a good time, but it was despite the bar. Mediocre food and a terrible waitress didn't help. The bar could also use a bit of a face-lift. The music was fun though, and the lead pianist did a great job interacting with my friend and the other people (ladies) there celebrating their birthdays or bachlorettes.

If you think the drinks are watered down, I would say you may need AA. A group of us girls went to Chopstix for a bachelorette party and have never had so much fun!! Our waitress was AWESEOME and made sure our bachelorette got pulled on stage! We had reservations for a Saturday night so we had a table for us all. The food was better than I thought for a bar and the drinks were off the hook! I would stay away from the FOO FOO drinks if you want something more than juice and less flavor, but all in all great time!! OH Yeah, make sure to get the SHOT GUY to dance on stage. HILARIOUS!!!

We went to Chopstix for a bachelorette party and during 4 hours ordered lots of mixed drinks, bombers, and shots. None of us are big drinkers, but due to the special occasion we wanted to have fun, especially since we had a designated driver. $350 later and NOT ONE of us was even remotely buzzed. We were very disappointed and angry, and by the time we realized that we needed to go elsewhere to get real drinks, we had run out of money. We believe Chopstix waters their drinks down a lot. There is no other explanation (we didn't eat a lot beforehand, all of us have been drunk at one point so we know how it feels, etc..). Again, we are all honest girls who know we can have fun without alcohol, but when that much money is involved it isn't funny. We really were cheated by this place.

I have been to chopstix a few times and it is so much fun. I've made a point to go on a slow night (tues) and a busy night (fri) to see the difference. It's nice on slow nights because there's a better chance your request will get played. It's also a bit more personal with the players. To the people who gave this club a negative rating; your experience at this club will also depend upon what players are working the night you go. Most of the performers are great but there are a couple of players who can't sing and/or play the songs way too fast. But they all know a bunch of songs. Don't go on the weekend unless you want a loud, crazy party crowd. I give chopstix a big thumbs up!

I was expecting dualing pianos. Instead two jerks ruined some of my favorite songs. There was a lot of really stupid frat-boy pottymouth humer intermixed with songs I really like, played at twice the speed the original artist played them at. Knowing only half the words did not stop them! Maybe it was an off night, but this was a waste of cover-money and a waste of time. If you love music, do not go here. If you like adolescent sexual inuendo, baseball caps and doing shots out of test-tubes, this is the place for you!

Chopstix Dueling Piano Bar is a great place to let go and have fun. Take a big group or go by yourself. It makes no difference. You will leave with a smile on your face and definately be back soon. The staff is friendly and the entertainers are sharp, witty, and humorous plus they can actually play a wide variety of music. Rarely can you stump them with requested songs (and don't forget to bring money to tip the players...they work hard for the money, so hard honey, honey). Tuesday nights are for Tightwads so get your change from the sofa and head to Chopstix for cheap drinks and appetizers. If you plan on going on Friday or Saturday get there early and don't be pissed when you can't get in, 'cause I told ya'! :)

PROS: Fun environment. Unique setting and entertainmnet.
CONS: You may have to wait to get in on weekends.

I've been to Chopstix twice and it's a blast!!! Be prepared to be hoarse after two hours of singing your heart out. The non-smoking aspect is a huge bonus.
A few words to the wise: Make reservations or you'll never sit down. Have a stash of $5 bills if you want to get your requests played. It's extremely loud and very crowded so don't expect to see your waiter/waitress very often on Friday nights.

Went to this place for the first time on Friday, 12/24. Cover was reasonable, only $7 for a Friday night. Service was great, waitress came by frequently. Love the fact that this place is smoke-free.

The "dueling piano" show is great... like having a live band in just 2 people, and everyone sings along. A little too crowded for dancing or anything, but it is a good time.

Only wish that they had their own parking lot, instead you either drive around looking for a spot, or pay for a lot (which if it's a Sonics night, can be up to $10 or more).

I'd recommend visiting this place at least once-- it's quite the experience.

The Scene
The portraits of music legends on the walls are big, but this L-shaped piano bar operates mostly on a smaller scale. A limited number of tables is available in both the front dining area and back bar, but minimal room…
