Over here, is one of the best places to get ahold of com tam bi suong cha (or variations of it, rice with barbecue pork, eggcake, bi or pork noodles, and fish sauce). You can get the full combo which contains shrimp and meatballs. Although I do find the fish sauce that they use a bit strong, which is why I never use all of it. The place is quite small, so it might be full on weekends. A lot of Americans eat there too, and it won't cost more than $7 for a meal (which is quite good for the money). You should try it if you like vietnamese cuisine!

Yum! I love this place. They serve authentic Vietnamese food for cheap. I recommend one of the platters with vermicelli rice noodles, pork skewers and shrimp. They also have a ton of selections. You will be pleasantly surprised :)

Pros: Parking, authentic cuisine, inexpensive

Cons: Small

Huong Binh have a large selection of Vietnamese food to choose from, instead of just plan pho (beef noodles soup), they have soupy noodle dishes, dry noodle dish, rice, and other. My favorite dish is #11, which is the combination noodles dish that comes with grilled shrimp, sugar cane shrimp, meatball, and skewered beef, this is served with lettuce, so you could eat this like a lettuce wrap, or eat from your bowl. All the entrees I think are under $8, so its definitely a good cheap eat!

PROS: Wide selection of food to choose from
CONS: Small restaurant, so long wait at lunchtime.

Many Seattleites make a beeline to this small eatery for authentic Vietnamese food, and willingly put up with the nondescript decor, long waits and sketchy service. It's all about the bun bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup). The menu lists…
