I walked into this dealership and bought a 2005 Acura TL with 47K miles on it. The price listed for this car was $26K; they went down to $25,500. I put $7500 down on the car and they quoted me a rate (4.9% keep in mind I have a 788 credit score) when I took the car. They could not deliver and the next day told me they needed to raise my interest rate to nearly double it (8.9% - I know they have the right to do this). When I told the girl that called me it was unacceptable she become very rude to me, and even told me if I expected a better rate, I should just buy the car outright with cash. She eventually agreed to try a different bank to at the very least improve the interest rate the following day.
I went into the dealership the next day to speak with a manager about the whole experience and to ask that the price of a $25.5K car be lowered $500 so that my payment was the same with the new interest rate (they got it back down to 6.9% - still 2% higher then what I was quoted at), and the manager did not even come out of his office. He had a salesman relay that they would not change the price of the car and if I did not like it, I could leave the car, which I did.
Just as a comparison, I returned that car on a Friday, and that day I called Acura of Seattle (located in South Center) , told a salesman the car I wanted, the colors I wanted, the monthly payment I wanted, and the length of the loan I wanted, and asked to be contacted when they found a car that matched my criteria (2005 or 2006 Acura TL, with less than 50K miles, silver or black paint, black interior, 5 year loan, around $400 a month). The next day I got a call from Acura of Seattle for a 2006 Acura TL, with 25K miles, silver paint, and black interior. To remind you, the lowest Acura of Bellevue would go on a 2005 with 47K miles with $25,500. I got my 2006 with 25K miles for $26,000 from Acura of Seattle.
Acura of Bellevue are real nice until you disagree over something then they become rude and confrontational. Go to Acura of Seattle, its only a few extra miles down 405 and you will have a MUCH better experience, get a better price, and receive better service. Oh yeah, and it took a week for Acura of Bellevue to refund my down payment because even though they had not finalized the financing on the 2005, they had no problem cashing in on my down payment. They sure are a classy place. I will never go back there and I suggest neither do you, but I am glad they were so rude, because I would have bought that 2005 from them and missed out on the much better deal from the other Acura branch.
