Color Me Mine

Color Me Mine on the top of Queen Anne Hill is a fun place to have some creative time alone of with friends. I went with my mother and we decorated a lot of ceramics for Christmas gifts. It was a laid back environment and they let us use as much time as we wanted for only $8 (plus the price of whatever piece you pick out). They also have a pretty good selection of ceramics. AND, For a little bit more money you can even take the paints home. Word to the wise, though, it takes several days for the cermaics to actually be 'fired' and ready, so don't plan on this for a last minute gift. Once finished, they also ship your ceramics anywhere you want in secure packaging so things don't break, but this took longer than expected the one time I tried, so you may just want to ship it yourself.

PROS: the laid back service
CONS: not the best for really last minute gifts

We had a birthday party here last weekend for a 5 year old. It was nice, but VERY expensive. Almost $200 for 10 kids to each paint a plate. Nice atmosphere though
