Horrible people. Lied about our car, and didn't even have it when we arrived at their lot.

Our dog was in the car, and the driver didn't put the car on dollies or a flatbed... so the e-brake was up the whole time, which ruined the rear brakes of the car...

Then the manager tried to say they went into the car and put the e-brake down, so the brakes must be bad because of us. Five minutes earlier they claimed they didn't know the dog was in the car because they didn't go inside the car.

Asked where we can complain, they gave us their own form to fill out. I asked why they would ever admit fault when they have no incentive to give us our money back... they said "you're right, we'd never admit fault."

Like I said, horrible scum. They lie and cheat and steal, and benefit from the misfortune of others. Working for Lincoln Towing is what happens when you don't pay attention in school.

Although they offer roadside assistance as well as stealing your car, don't bother giving them your money willingly. They'll probably ruin the rear brakes.

It is amazing on how you come off to people. You come in say:you f>ers stole my car or youre nothing but M*f*g B***d I want my F*ing Car NOW! They just dont have a clue. Having your ducks linedup helps. When I called They ask for My License Plate. The 3rd time I heard myself not answering the question finnally I said I dont know it. We found my car by Make. Tthey had it & I needed my Drivers Lic, & be the owner. I said Id be down. Before I hungup he said my car was moved to the lot on Aurora. I would have gone downtown. The gal behind the desk wasn't in a good mood she was little snippish when she asked for mylLicense plate number. I learned my mistake when I called I told her I didnt know it but knew the Make! After finding several Cars like mine She found the right one. As we proceded she became very pleasant. I paid my money reluctently & told my car was in lot 6B. Tthere was map of the lot on the door. As I walked down the hill I saw that this lot was about 6 acres full of cars. I didnt see the guy I talked to on the phone & I learned they have a phone center, no matter which number you called the same people answered. I turned to apologize it wasn't their fault . I was the one who parked the car too close to the driveway. (I did know that you can't park within 5 ft of a driveway) I hadn't stepped fvery far when the next person behind me began to swear I would have slapped him into next tuesday if he was talking to me that way I told him to shut up its not their fault. He didnt own the car It was his girlfriends & she didn't even know he had it. He wanted it back before she found out. If he was mine I would have put X in front t. I learned 2 weeks later in Seattle hydrants are green just like the plants. So who's fault is it? No one but me The cost $140 for each tow & $45 for each ticket. The second time in the person before me was impounded for Scofflaw 4+ unpaid ticket and he had to pay almost $200. Did he learn I found my 1st ticket & paid it.

Pros: Proffesional clean & pleasant to talk with both on the phone and in person

Cons: you park illeagally be prepard to pay the price its not thier fault & look at the time of day

i have no words to describe, not just how rude thay are , but how impressive the lack of education those employees have. I wonder if they pick on purpose people that have not finish elemtary school or any kind of formal education that could make a difference in the way they treat customers,I am sure there must bhe a reason why those individuals are chosen that way, but whatever those reasons are, the only thing i cna feel is sorry for them, certainlly what anger drives them to be that way, is something i don't even care to know, but since they like to play a power game over what they think is their right, i will only say, I hope one day that company sinks, they are a disgrace to our comunity!

Pros: they are somehow not visible to the eyesight, scary!

Cons: everything posible imaginable! plus they are what i call legal thieves

I used to feel as you do, but then I found out that the tow company's do not pick up any vehicle unless it has had an impound sticker put on it by the seattle PD and then they HAVE to tow it. The SPD tickets it for impound then calls the tow company's to pick them up. If you get there before the tow company then you just have a ticket, if not the tow company tows it. I found this out after asking a police officer about my car being towed. The tow company cannot tow it with out an impound sticker or a private property owner signing a document to have you towed off their private space. I also found that lincoln towing pays their drivers only by the hour not by the car as so many other tow company's do.

People at the office were rude and condescending. The guy there also threatened to charge me an additional 40 bucks if the person who dropped me off didn't move his car from the driveway (he was waiting to make sure I got my car out of there). Of course it was in the middle of the night, there was no traffic and nobody was waiting to get in or out of their driveway. Obviously if you get towed by these guys, they've got you. However, I would avoid doing regular business with them just on principle.

This company hires the rudest employees I have ever encountered. My last encounter with Lincoln Towing occurred while watching the driver trying to tow a car other than my own. I was on a busy Seattle street, and the driver was blocking the entire street so no cars could drive by in either direction. This was frustrating because there would have been plenty of room for cars to get by if the driver had courtesy enough to not park at a steep angle and block the entire road. To sum up the story, after waiting several minutes and observing several cars pile behind me, I asked the driver to position his truck so everyone could continue to their destinations. The driver replied by saying, "How about I kick your F#$king teeth in?" If you like working with over aggressive and offensive tow truck drivers, then please do business with Lincoln. If you like being treated with dignity and the respect you deserve, then you may want to try a different towing company.

Our kids were in a car accident mostly because it was raining hard and the car skidded. The car was towed in a spot where the police said it was ok to leave the car for 24 hours while we took care of our kids. Coming back after a few hours, the car was no longer there. We looked across the street and Lincoln Towing was there. We correctly surmised, they had towed the car. They charged us about $200 for towing the car 50 feet so my husband couldn't help but mention the fact. They were very rude saying we shouldn't abandon our car, which we didn't do but we had to take care of our kids first so I mentioned they could at least be kinder since two of our kids were in the accident and we had to take care of them first. The answer we got was "Well, they're not our kids!" We found out later that if any car was towed north of Safeco Field, Lincoln Towing would have towed the car or it would be in their yard. It seems there are only two yards for Seattle. If you call the police about a car that has been towed, their phone line gives you only two choices. I think the people at Lincoln Towing believe they can be rude to people because they have a monopoly on tthis kind of business north of Safeco Field.

I have never been treated more rudely in my life. My car was towed by Lincoln towing and was damaged during the process. We filed a claim with them after we visually saw their report sheet about the condition of the car that showed this damage was not there when they picked it up. They said they would get back in 10 business days, we asked for a copy of the report but were not allowed this. We were then yelled out to get out of the store, they were done with us. They said we could call the cops if we wanted. I continually called after this and left messages with the President and never received a call back about the status of our claim. Had to proceed through an arbitrator. Quite a shame for this organization to sport the Christian Fish in their logo.

Called to arrange a tow from Queen Anne to a repair shop in West Seattle. Receptionist answered, "Nope, can't do it. I can't have my drivers going that far". Despite clarifying that the towing distance is less than 6 miles, apparantly this distance was too great. Perhaps they specialize in REALLY short tows. Regardless, it was made very clear that this service would not be performed.

I CALLED ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TO HAVE MY VEHICLE TOWED TO GET SERVICED AND THESE GUYS GOT THE CALL FROM MY COMPANY. I WAS AT WORK WHEN THE TOW WAS SUPPOSE TO HAPPEN SO I CALLED TO VERIFY THE TIMING. HE INFORMED ME THAT I NEEDED TO BE AT THE VEHICLE WHEN IT WAS TOWED, I INFORMED HIM THAT MY FATHER IN LAW WOULD BE PRESENT. WHEN THE TOW TRUCK GOT THERE MY FATHER IN LAW GREETED THE DRIVER AND HE ASKED FOR ME. SINCE I WAS NOT THERE HE GOT VERY UPSET AND STARTED RINGING MY DOOR BELL. MY WIFE WHO IS 9 MONTHS PREGNANT, LITERALLY DUE IN LESS THEN A WEEK! ANSWERED THE DOOR AND THE DRIVER HARRASSED HER FOR MAKING ME CALL AND NOT SHOWING UP. HE IS LUCKY I WAS NOT THERE. AFTER MAKING ONE PHONE CALL, I FIGURED OUT EXACTLLY WHAT KIND OF OPERATION THIS IS. THE DISPATCH USED PROFANITY AND WAS BLAMING THE THIRD PARTY COMPANY AND THEN MYSELF. HE TOOK NO ACCOUNTABILITY AT ALL.

This is a rather large tow yard that has regular auctions for the vehicles every week. We have tried to check out this auction a few times and still can't seem to get in, and no longer care to. The first time we went, we had seen the ad in the paper showing the auction at 10:00am, we got there at 10:05 and started towards the office to register. We were intercepted by a huge guy that told us we were late and that we couldn't come in! They wouldn't even let us watch or check it out! There was nothing in the ad in the paper about havin to be there by any special time. The next time we went we had our son with us and were stopped again and told that we couldn't have any kids with us! Again there hadn't been anything mentioned in the paper about kids not being allowed to enter. Anyways you get the gist of it.

PROS: none
CONS: where should I start?

Yesterday I recieved a call from Everett PD saying that Seattle PD has found my stolen car, and lincoln made the tow. I called lincoln towing to get some info on the condition of the car, but they were not helpfull. I was on hold for 10 min. The person at the counter ask me 10 times what my license plate # was. I expecting for them to have a big lot, with all the questions they ask, which didn't do any good. I later found out it was a small parking lot with about 10 cars in it. I showed up and my girlfriend and i pulled into their "lot" I walked in and the women at the counter started yelling at me telling me to get my girlfriend out of her lot and that she can't park there. They were very rude and not helpfull when I call.

The customer service at Lincoln Towing borders on nightmare. I was polite and I still received nothing but innaccurate information from a very rude and unhelpful woman working at the counter.

Are towing companies really popular with
the general public? Probably not. I parked
along with about 15 other people in our
office to go on a cruise on Lake Union.
All we all got towed. I think the signs
were not clear and we were lead astray
about parking in that lot. Field day for
Lincoln.

AVOID this tow company, there are many others. I called to schedule a 8AM tow. The dispatcher tells me I will save time and money if I do it at 7AM. I wasted 3 hours the next morning waiting for the driver, he showed up after 9AM. I asked for some time credited into my tow, they refused. No consideration for other people's time.
