This coffee shop is what made me move to Kirkland. We had spent the day out in Seattle looking for apartments to rent and we decided to come across the water and check out Kirkland we needed to come up with a plan so we found the first place that had free wi-fi and it happened to be Kahili Coffee. As soon as I walked in, I knew I wanted to live close enough to frequent this place. It has a great set-up - tables and chairs to do work at or overstuffed couches and arm chairs near a fire if you are in relax mode. Besides their great coffee, they also have a great selection of teas and a wine bar. And their desserts are delicious! We would often save space for dessert after eating somewhere else so we could stop by Kahili on the way home. The location's great too. On summer days, I like to walk to Kahili to pick up a newspaper and my coffee to go and find a spot in the grass at the nearby marina to tackle a crossword...
