Chrysler corporate offices in Detroit referred us to Tom Matson Dodge in Auburn after major complaints with our 2008 Challenger SRT 8 and the service we had previously received at Renton Dodge. It ran rough with a loud lifter tick at start up and an internal knock when warm. We met Jessica, from the service desk and Jeff, the lead mechanic. They heard our concerns and agreed to tear down the engine and replace the lifters?even allowing us to come see the engine when it was torn down. Jeff, who has been there over 13 years, did a fantastic job. It was a relief to go see it when it was apart and see the care he took keeping everything organized, the parts spotless and protecting the car surfaces. We were impressed with his knowledge and his work ethic's. Observing his workmanship gave us confidence in his work, plus his respect, understanding and willingness to work with us, listening to our concerns and discussing without talking down to us. Jessica, stayed with us throughout, keeping us updated on progress and even had the car detailed. When they returned the car to us it unfortunately still had with an engine tick, though less and with it still under the extended warranty, they advised to continue driving and get some miles on it. Jessica and Jeff really made a difference. We will return there with confidence and would recommend them!

Justin and Steve are fantastic sales guys! But, Cynthia really brought the deal together with her financing skills. Thanks Cynthia. I also want to throw in a good word for the Service Department. I had a problem with a seat-belt sensor and took my car for service. I had the pleasure of working with Jessica in Service. She is extremely knowledgeable, polite and has a beautiful smile. I knew where my car was and when it would be done. I have not had a problem since. It??s wonderful that I get email reminders when my car needs service. I totally love the ease and cost of getting my oil changes there too!

Sloppy work. A fuel filter change leaves the truck stinking of diesel for weeks as an example. Three hours work took TWO DAYS while I had to pay for a rental car. Took my pickup there several times and never walked out feeling good about it. I found a local small business owner mechanic on my way home from Matson's shop. What a difference!!

I bought a new demo vehicle and have been treated like a used car owner ever since. I never received my vehicle back cleaner than I dropped it off for service. I had my vehicle in recently for a problem that could have been caused before or after I received it and was not covered by warranty. The service department offered no discount or assistance. Their computer parts program is so pathetic they have to remove the part from the car to look it up for ordering or pricing that even the VIN does not work. Larson Dodge will treat you right. I also spent over 6 hours at the dealership when buying the car with a toddler and infant. Do not recommend Tom Matson at all.

We called for information on a used jeep seen on the dealer website. We live a few hours from the away and would be unable to view the jeep for a few days. The salesman persuaded us to give a refundable $500.00 on our credit card to hold the jeep a couple of days. We received a call from the salesman telling us to go online to their website to submit a credit report. I didn't matter that we are cash buyers he said its the law since 911. I told him I won't sumit my sensitive info online and I don't beleive this law exists. Which it doesn't. I further explained that we weren't sure if we were purchasing this jeep until we see it. upon arriving at the dealership we were then asked to give our drivers license so they could make a copy before we could test drive the jeep. We refused and were going to leave when the salesman said it wasn't neccessary. Later that day we purchased a jeep from another dealership and called to have the $500.00 refunded to our credit card which the salesman said he would. That was almost a month ago and several calls to them and my credit card company.

This is the second car in 8 years that we've bought from Tom Matson Dodge and had the same salesman. Of course he didn't remember us, but he made a good showing that he did. :) With the economy bad, we got a screamin' deal, but they were very helpful to fit us into something we wanted and could still afford. They tried very hard to sell us a 2nd car for our daughter, and that deal would have been a really good one, too - we just don't want to spend that much on her. The service, courtesy, and friendly style was good. The only downfall - the whole process took way too long - 5 hours.

we brought our van in because the windshield wipers weren't working properly. The service manager went out and just tightened a fitting, repairing the problem for us and costing nothing but my time. I have been happy with any service done here.
