.

What remains of the K-Mart Empire is respectable, especially after the dual onslaught of Wal-Mart and Fred Meyer throughout Greater Seattle. The only suitable competition nearby is a Costco but with its Wal-Mart-like parking, thousands of frantic shoppers, bulk purchase requirements, and ridiculous membership fee, K-Mart is comparably a pleasure cruise. The clientele at this K-Mart locale is relatively nil so youll be in and out in a jiffy, even though there are moments when the checkers are few and far between. FYI, I have never seen so many people return or exchange items more than I have seen at this K-Mart. It would be nice to have a Fred Meyer-like store in this area, and there isnt one of those till you hit Lynnwood. For one-stop shopping, K-Mart on Aurora isnt the answer, but there is always ample parking, as long as you dont mind driving down and back up their ski slope-like asphalt pathway.
