Great atmosphere and overall experience. Average food with above average selections on the menu and reasonably priced. Would recommend as a "staple" restaurant for take out or last minute dine in.

First time there, I met people early in the evening. It wasn't busy, the food came fast. The sushi was decent, but I'm no sushi expert. The Pad Thai had too much ketchup (you don't HAVE TO use ketchup in Pad Thai) couldn't taste any

A friend brought me here on a Tuesday night, no wait to sit. Jae, the chef knows his stuff AND the regulars names! Had almost everything on the happy hour menu including 4 glasses of plum wine. FANTASTIC FOOD. Would recommend this place to

We arrived at 6:30, in time for a bit of happy hour and took advantage of the $2 Sapporos and $4 selection of sushi (we had the unagi, seattle and albacore tataki) which was fairly good. It took a very long time for the tataki to come out

i don't know why we still even try to order from this awful restauarant. it isn't good sushi anyway. the only reason we do try b/c it is the only sushi close by to pick up and every time it is a problem, the girl who answers the phone

We would recommend sitting at the Sushi bar and allowing Jae to whip up a menu for you based on what is

We've been eating sushi in Seattle since there were only handful of sushi restaurants here. Jae (the main chef) is very well schooled in all aspects of sushi etiquette. He is meticulous, courteous, and knowledgable. He goes the extra

The Chinoise in Madison Park is rarely crowded and the sushi in particular is great. My wife loves the green bean dish too.

Living nearby, we eat here regularly - or rather, get takeout. The menu has great authentic dishes from all over Asia. Highly recommended are the pad thai noodles, green bean curry, and bird's nest stirfry. Dishes are consistently

What's great about this place: excellent food, prices are reasonable, nice outside patio, it's a great weeknight-dinner place. A very diverse place!
What's bad: service can be slow. Prices for sushi are a bit high-- even during lunch.

Chinoise remains one of the best bargains
in Seattle for the amount of food and
quality of food you get. It's easy parking,
fast service and the daily specials
are well worth it.

I had my birthday dinner at Chinoise in Madison park last week and the service and food were great. We checked out the restaurant a couple weeks earlier since good service is of supreme importance to me. Our group of 9 was well taken

I enjoy their sushi and have eaten there many times. I recently decided not to return. Their kitchen turn around is totally unpredictable and unreliable. Sometimes service is really quick. But I've had at least 2 experiences where I

Jae serves up some of the best sushi in the city. They also bring in fresh Haji and other sushi "delights" unavailable at most sushi bars. In addition, you can fill up on some of the best Pad Thai for less than $10. Service is great and
