WE stumbled onto this place in the early hours during the week. The place is clean, nicely furnished, and the wait staff is on top of thier game. The food is plentiful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The bar setup is a unique addition to the place.

Food was good when we got it. Hot and very tasty. Portion size comparably to cost of food. The restaurant was very clean. Our service on the other hand was very slow. It took the waitress over 15 mins to take our order even though we showed signs of being ready after 5 mins and the restaurant was not even busy. Waitress was slow to refill drinks. When it was time to pay, the Waitress was slow to bring our check and to return our receipt for signing. If you want good Greek food, this is a place to go, but expect your order to take longer then it should.

I like going to Georges. Good food. Casual atmosphere. Drinks and fun when you've had a few. Chow down.

This place is great, right in downtown Kirkland, amazing tzatziki, and grub. Went for half priced food at happy hour, stayed for dinner, it was amazing!

I really like George's Place Kirkland. You can't go wrong with any of the Greek food! They have a great breakfast too. I only show up on weekends for that and it's pretty crowded. Nobody wants to eat in an empty restaurant! Go check out happy hour too! It's a great one. Good lookin crowd!

Went to George's in Kirkland for the first time Saturday night, and went back again on Sunday! Great food - Musaka to die for - and the tzatziki was the best I've had since a trip to Greece last year. We had great service, and the bar tenders were a hoot. Sunday Breakfast was super too and we found the staff very attentive. We were with a large group that expanded as the morning progressed and they were great about adding chairs, and then were able to break out everyone's bill with no problem. I'll be back - and since I live in Ballard that says a lot!"

I've only had Gyros and fries at George's Place. The first time I went, I ordered a chicken gryo. It was good, but not great. I had a bite of my sister's vegetarian gryo and it was to die for. It's all I've ever ordered again, and I haven't been dissapointed yet.
Yes, the service isn't the best, but it hasn't been horrible either. My daughter spilt half a glass of water on the floor (carpeted) and they were very friendly about it, which is more than I can say about other resaurants.

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The service is impeccable, always cheerful. It does get busy on the weekends, but what good restaurant doesn't.

Food is great. I haven't had one bad thing on the menu. It is nice after work to relax and have a beer and watch the game there too. It is a wonderful place to take your family or meet your friends for a drink.

I've gone to George's for over 5 years. I recently got married and introduced my husband and his 2 daughters to George's and we go to breakfast after church on Sundays - our new tradition for our new family. A couple weeks ago, we gave the girls a choice as to what to do, go to see Kung Fu Panda or, go to George's for breakfast. They CHOSE GEORGE'S!!! My husband and I love that they are open late for dinner or after dinner drinks for the nights we are without the girls!

Pros: Food - lots of options, friendly staff, the remodel makes the place even more inviting.

Cons: Can be confusing on weekends in getting on the list for a seat. But worth the wait!

My wife, two year old son and I went for a Sunday brunch at George's recently. We had driven by this place on weekends and assumed it must be great by the lines always seemingly going out the door.
I don't know if we caught George's on a day when they were short staffed or if what we encountered was indicative of how it always is during busy times, but I must say we were duly unimpressed.
My breakfast arrived lukewarm (except the bacon, which was just plain cold). Even the toast was cold...how do you screw up toast? My empty coffee cup sat on the edge of the table for 15 minutes until I waved someone down for a refill. My wife's food was fine - warm and decently prepared. It seems George's needs to revamp their food prep during high times, as I watched some people's dishes sit on the warming counter for as much as 15 minutes as they awaited the other dishes necessary to complete the order. We will probably give George's another go at some point, but not likely on a busy Saturday or Sunday. The Brown Bag does a much, much better job (hell, Sheri's does a better job than what we encountered this time out).

Pete and Derek have made this place from a great brunch type restaurant to a great breakfast, lunch, and dinner place. Bonnie and I ate there the other night, I had the Ribeye steak(awesome) Bon had salad that she couldn't talk because it was so good. They remodeled the place and with the new ambience I really think this is a winner for all ages! I have lived on the eastside my whole life and the touch of Greek they put into there food is amazing. Highly recommend the eggs benedict for breakfast and either a grinder or steak for dinner. Giant plasma TV doesn't hurt any either....Oh and by the way very reasonably priced with outstanding service. Good job Pete and Derek...Chris and Bon!

I have been to George's many times and after all my great experiences I feel compelled to write a great review. I like to go there on the weekends for breakfast its always packed but you usually don't have to wait too long. They don't have a hostess so write your name down on the clipboard when you get there and they will seat you asap. Get the eggs benedict when its on special!! Now George's has expanded and its great to go for dinner or chill with a drink or two. Their staff makes you feel very special. See you there!!!

I have never had such full belly food satisfaction than after I eat at Georges place.
They have the tastiest tsanzuki, the freshest fries and the greatest grinders.
Your body will thank you.
On top of the food being great, did I mention that the wait staff is about as friendly as they come? Yeah. Its true. Georges Place puts Kirkland on the Map.
Say hello to Petrac and tell him you want the "Super Nation".

The omelets at this place are big and very yummy. Everything seems to have a Greek influence, but that's okay - it's good!!
They are very friendly and not overly crowded.

One of Kirklands best kept secrets, George & Pete do a great job. A great value with comfort foods, not heavy on the greek foods, but heavy on the greek atmosphere.

George's Place in downtown Kirkland provides great "no nonsense" breakfasts. Everything is well prepared, and the price is just right. Come early on weekends to avoid the crowds.

George has a big menu divided up into diner staples like meatloaf and burgers, and greek dishes. As a diner it's above average but the Greek food is a bit lacking. The price is right either way.
