Typically, a supperclub is a ?joint? from days gone by, a local place to get dinner where live music is played. While we do not have live music here at Marco?s, you may hear music you know. But chances are, there are selections in Marco?s collection (particularly in his analog collection) that either you haven?t heard in some time, or else perhaps not that version of that particular Duke Ellington song. This is the spirit of a supperclub. By no means private, by no means pretentious, just a place to relax and have some fun, some food, and some beverage.

Marco's supper club is famous for their fried sage leaves. You gotta try them. I loved my gnocchi and all the pasta dishes here are just amazing. They have a great decor and great drinks too!

Marco's Supperclub is still a great neighborhood eatery.
by mgmwaliw
I went with a group of three to Marco's last night. It was my first visit in a couple years. I'm happy to report that the food is still exceptional. In the past few weeks I've been to several fine restaurants in Seattle, including Crush, Marjorie, Tavolata, Qube & Amber. My favorite remains Marco's. I love the casual, cozy, atmosphere. The service was spot on and the food was great. The fried sage leaves with dipping sauces was a great starter. I loved the pork chop, it was thick and cooked to perfection. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their entrees of Muscles & Clams and Mahi Mahi. It was a thoroughly enjoyable dinning experience and I look forward to returning to this long-standing, neighborhood eatery.
Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Service
Cons: Parking

Not like it used to be.
by rossijt
Love the room and the atmosphere, but the food is average at best. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but I am not going back anymore--too many better places to eat in town!

The bar is the best
by spudsocks
Three words: fried sage leaves. Dipped in aoili, with a glass of wine, worth a trip to the bar anytime.
I've never eaten in the restaurant and never been on the back patio, but heard they're both amazing. I often meet people at Marco's for a pre-dinner nosh or a post-happy-hour treat. The bar is dark and sultry, the bartenders friendly and helpful, the crowd eclectic and definitely not the typical Belltown denizens. Love it here.

Great place for lite socializing on a date
by e46tiger
Food was great, service was appropriate, lighting and ambience were well done. Drinks were well-made. Seats were a little uncomfortable, but we weren't there long, so they were acceptable.
Pros: food, ambience, service
Cons: no parking, but hey, it's downtown...

Loved it!
by ml325
Delicious food, the Chile Relleno rocks. We tried the sage leaves, they were VERY salty, skip those. Awesome wine list! The restaurant is very intimate, great ambiance and wonderful for couples or a small group. I never once thought it was too loud. The service was average. The first time we went to Marco's, the service was pretty bad and our server was mildly rude. But, the food and ambiance made up for it! The other times the service was much better. Highly recommend!
Cons: Parking

Iconic Seattle experience!
by markus4star
The salt & pepper shakers are all unique and the chairs all varying which add to the unique setting. Don't let the seemingly kitschy decorations fool you as though the service is par none, the food first class and in general, the value for the money provides a truly Seattle iconic experience that never fails to disappoint. p.s. Try the sage leaf appy!

One of my long-time favorites
by rubyparlee
Marco's has a great atmosphere (light, music), wonderful NW food, the service is consistently solid and friendly (without being overly so), and Marco has a strong wine list. What more could you want? It's not a quiet place, but I've never found it too loud and when you look around at the 25 or so tables, there are so many interesting people enjoying conversation. This is one of my favorite places to have a special dinner with friends and has been for years. Marco's is as good as ever.
Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Marco
Cons: , Little free parking

Loved It!

We went out to Marco's on a girls weekend and this was by far our favorite restaurant (we tried Etta's and Dalhia Lounge...not so good). The food was fantastic (fried sage leaves to die for), service was excellent and we all enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere. Marco was particularly charming!
Pros: service, food, atmosphere

Fantastic experiences
by terryea
This is my 3rd or 4th time eating at Marco's and it's always been a great experience. Last night we actually had reservations at a nearby restaurant who was so horrible to us (Cascadia) that we left to eat at Marco's. The experience at Marco's was great - fun food, great service, friendly everybody. Highly recommended!

TOO LOUD
by hashisaki
The ambience was such that we had to talk loudly throughout our dinner to have conversations. I asked 3 times to have the music lowered but it wasn't until the 3rd CD that the music was noticeably lower. Meal service wasn't bad but leaving a restaurant with ringing ears dampers the overall experience. If you don't mind the noise, the food was tasty.

Casual, Fun and GREAT Food
by annienovak
Marco's is always a great place to dine. Food is wonderful and the menu doesn't try to get to "fancy". I go back every few months and it's always consistant. The prices are reasonable too - great place to relax, enjoy some wine and have a great meal!
Pros: atmosphere, food, service

The energy, color and flavors intoxicate you from the time you enter this funky, friendly, "laidback-sophisticated", highly creative eatery. Their friendly, casual and confident service is like dining with old friends. And spending less than $100 for a 4-course dinner for two makes you feel like you're in on a very closely held secret you might not even share with your most intimate pal.

Heavenly
by mlyn1375
Went to Marco's again this past Monday night - hadn't been there in months. And as always, had one of the bset meals I have ever had. If you have a hankering for some Marco's, go now and try the Pub Steak they have on their current menu - the entire dish was just excellent!!
And if you have never been there, go go go!! This is a fun, funky restaurant with excellent food - always consistant! A slice of heaven!
Pros: excellent food, consistancy, right price
Cons: parking, can get loud

Poor Service, Average Food
by Eastsider
I can't agree with some of the reviews on this page. A friend and I went to Marco's and I have had better service at a fast food restaurant. We were there early, prior to a show and there were only two other tables of two people each, but the waiter didn't seem to be interested in working. Food was ok, but nothing special. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Atmosphere, Good Grub & Friendly Service
by dmgaston
The laid back atmosphere...the diverse crowd...the friendly service and the decent every-changing music make this place special. Not to mention the food....
Take your visitors from out of town for the food, meet your friends for the atmosphere, or cuddle up with your other half under the dim lighting.
The menu changes daily but you wouldn't know the difference.
Dont' get the tuna. Try the sage leaves, because everyone else does...get the thai-shitake basil rolls...there's the steak....and then there's the halibut...delicious!
Pros: Atmoshere, Food, People

Noisy but, thumbs-up experience!
by blairjadwin
Great meal, good service, nice wine list. Very pleased with the whole meal. Rarely do 4 people dine together with each individual extremely pleased with their dish. Appetizers to dessert, all good here! One flaw to note - acoustically noisy. Difficult to hear others at your table with the volume of chatter.
Pros: good appetizers, good wine, good food
Cons: Noisy

Great un-Belltown place
by allisonaustin_citysearch
Even though it's in the heart of Belltown, inside this place doesn't feel like any of the turbo places nearby. It's a very relaxed, fun place to go for a casual date or for a dinner with friends. I had a birthday dinner there and everyone loved the fried sage leaves (even though they were wary when we ordered them) and dinner was terrific. The bar's great if you're looking to have a glass of wine before going someplace nearby.
