Abbondanza Pizzeria

Went to Abbo. twice, once last year and once this year during my visits to Seattle in the summers. Ordered pasta last year, pizza this year. Both times, the meals were amazing and left me full. The owner of the restaurant is friendly, and also tends to work at the restaurant himself, checking on the tables and making sure everyone is properly accommodated. The seating is decent, and the restaurant makes an excellent psychology decision in leaving the Food network on the television while you wait for your food, making you crave the food even more when it arrives.

There are some great off-menu items if you know the owner, but for starters, the Aloha and Formaggio pizzas, as well as the lasagna. But feel free to ask the waitress/owner what they recommend: they always make excellent choices!

In addition, everybody that works there know sign language (at least a limited amount), so it's a great place to bring deaf friends or learn sign language if you're interested in Deaf culture.
