I had been referred here by my cousin and when I told my co-workers that I was going dress shopping they all got excited when I told them I was going to I Do. Dress shopping was not great for me at many of the other local stores and it was such a difference when I went here. The lady who helped me was fantastic. She knew her stuff and picked dresses on for me to try that were like what I wanted but most of all gave really honest feedback about what would look best on me. There was no pressure to buy and no gimmick sales tactics that make me uncomfortable. Just great service and prices. I am so glad that I found my dream dress here! I will highly recommend them to anyone that I know who is getting married!

My sister recently got engaged. She was coming up to Seattle for a visit and we thought we would look at some wedding dresses. So I booked an appt at I Do Bridal. I've driven past this place several times and always wanted to check out the business. Overall our experience was great. There was no high pressure sales. Our sales associate took a ton of time with us. She understood my sister was trying on her first dresses and that we were still looking. In fact we found my sister's dress there and the only reason why we didn't purchase it was we found it for less closer to my sister's city. Otherwise we would've gone back to purchase it.

The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars was the place is too small. The dresses were are crammed together and not laid out nicely. In fact it looked a little like a stockroom and kind of messy. We were lucky because we were the only ones there otherwise we would've been tripping over other people. Though you can't put a price on customer service and they had it.

I had a great experince with I Do Bridal, and I would recomend anyone to go there. They are in a small building and there isnt a lot of room, but they make up for it with GREAT customer service and selection of gowns. They dont pressure you into making bigger purchases, or try to add on item after item at the register (ie veil, shoes etc). Even after my gown was fully paid for, and I returned to pick it, they where super nice and I felt like they were generally excited and happy for me!

My older sister lives in Wallingford and scheduled an appointment for us to go to I Do Bridal when I was in town. I am SO GLAD!!! Once I met Alicia who helped us I totally relaxed. She was so friendly and professional. She really listened to what I was looking for and helped me find a beautiful Robin Jillian dress that I cannot wait to wear. Since I bought my dress everyone that I have told about my dress shopping there has said the same great things about them. I am so happy to have a beautiful dress that was well within my budget and to support a small local business.

I write this review with a heavy heart as I like to give my business to local companies, but please avoid this store. It's not that the staff is not nice - they just screwed up my order in a BIG way. Their attempts to rectify the situation were not acceptable and left me on my own to fix their mistake just a week before my wedding. I was faced with paying several hundred extra dollars towards fabric and seamstress fees due to their carelessness. Not to mention the extra stress no bride needs to have! Ever!

After my honeymoon, I asked I Do Bridal to refund the rush charges for my initial order, plus to pay for the extra fabric and fees that THEIR MISTAKE caused. After contacting the owner via email (she had previously ignored my two certified letters) she refused to pay. Enough said. Take your business elsewhere!

I am only giving this shop one star because I have to - I would rather give it zero stars.

I bought my wedding dress at IDB, and when I came in to get fitted for the dress, they took my measurements and recommended a size for me - they told me to go with the size that would be a little big on me, so I could be sure to sit comfortably, and we would just tailor to top parts a little.

well, when my mom and I went to pick up the dress, I tried it on. It was so tight that I couldn't breathe!!! And I know that I didn't gain any weight since the fitting, especially in my ribcage, where it compressed the most. The girls at the store told me not to worry, I could get the sides let out a little, just enough to make this "bigger" size dress comfortable. Well, that was a huge lie.

I took the dress to a tailor, who told me that we can't let out the sides because the embroidery on my dress went over all of the seams. She suggested I put in one of those lace-up backs, which doesn't match the style of my vintage-y dress at ALL. So I said no to that, and we went for a MUCH more time-consuming alteration, opening up the back lower so that I can breathe on my wedding day.

In addition to the "bigger" dress being too small, I found that the length is wrong - yes, my $100 "Custom" length requires that I wear 4-inch heels, so that I don't step on my dress. They even measured me in heels!!! WTF?

When I called to inform them of the mistakes that were made, they said that I am responsible for the dress size- they just make "recommendations," but it is up to me to make the final choice. Now why on earth would that be my final choice? They are supposed to be the "experts." Well, clearly they don't know what they are doing. Had I known that they employ people with an IQ of a gerbil at this store, I would have insisted on checking the sizes myself.

I asked for some knid of refund for what will inevitably be a huge alteration bill, and they refused. I have a good mind to report them.

I would warn EVERYONE away from buying from IDB. Wedding planning is stressful enough, there is no need to add on unexpected alterations and frustration to the process.

The staff at I Do Bridal are knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I tried on about a third of the store in a little more than an hour, and thanks to the personable staff it was a pleasant experience instead of a stressful one. I received my dress quickly, and it looked perfect. I purchased my dress, shoes, and hair piece there for less than $1000.00. The dresses are exquisite, yet extremely affordable. I Do Bridal does not offer in house alterations though, and it was a bit of a hassle to get them done elsewhere. Despite this, I Do Bridal was very helpful in recommending good tailors. I encourage every bride to check out their store. Their window displays alone are worth the visit.

I was so excited to start my dress shopping. I knew from the get go I would never buy a dress from David's Bridal. I did not want a cookie cutter dress that every other woman in the US was going to be wearing at her wedding. I really wanted a shop with unique dresses, and that is definitly what I found here. I had Jen help me. She was so incredibly nice. She had great insites and pulled anything and every thing I asked. I left the first time, and I was overwhelmed, and decided I wanted to keep looking. I still didn't find quite what I wanted and went back to I Do again with a different idea of the dress I wanted. I came in and was starting to feel desperate. I was so upset I couldn't find anything I liked at any of the other stores I had been to. Jen assured me we would try on everything in the store until we found it, and what do you know? I found it! So happy!! I am going to pick it up my dress today! It came in a whole month early, and I had special alterations made to it as well. I think they are very reasonably priced, my dress with alterations was $1300. They sell some of the same brands as "La Belle Elaine" except cheaper. Much better customer service. I am so happy.I will say I agree with the other gal who mentioned the owner, we went in to get my sister's bridesmaid dress, and I was not thrilled with the owner, she is pretty rude, and the girl who helped us is kind of abrupt, still really nice, just not like Jen...totally love her. But all in all of the 8 dress shops I went to in Seattle, this was by far the best

I had such a great experience at this little boutique. I originally stopped by because there was a dress in the window that I loved. It was a little out of my price range and the gal who helped me (Morgan) was so sweet and patient with me! She found me a dress that is really light and comfortable and perfect for my casual, outdoor wedding. It also helped that it was almost half of the cost of the original dress that I liked in the window! I wasn't ready to commit the first day and they held the dress for me to bring my fiance in to show him. They made us both feel really relaxed and gave honest feedback which made the experience even better!

I saw a dress in their window when I was driving by and stopped in to take a look at it. Since my wedding isn't for almost a year I was not planning on trying anything on. They were super busy but had an opening a few minutes from when i arrived. Morgan took a lot of time to talk to me about what I like and the details of the wedding that Brian and I had arranged so far.

I really liked the dress in the window but, it was the one that she picked out that blew me away. It was really light and comfortable and I knew it would be perfect for my outdoor/casual wedding.

Since I am not one to make a quick decision she agreed to hold the dress for me overnight and I couldn't wait to go back and try it on again. I took my fiance and was worried that it was weird to have him there but, they were so nice and really made us both feel comfortable.

It is so exciting to have the dress done and it was much more reasonable than I expected. In fact the one she picked for me was almost half the price of the original in the window. I give them huge props for being so accommodating and honest with us!

I decided to take my dress and veil out today. I was surprised to notice that my $169 veil had a defect in the beadwork. (Side note: IDB made a mistake in the measurement of my first veil and then re-ordered me another one. It is possibly that I recieved the same veil that was cut and just altered beause the edges are not clean and the beads are bunching up and there is a knot at the middle of the string of beads).

Bottom line: Poor customer service and no refunds. They made a mistake on everything - my dress was too long - not sure if I got a "custom hem", the Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dresses were sewn poorly as noted by every alterations person we visited, and the low quality of the BelAire veil. There is enough stress with wedding planning. I just ended up with more.

My wedding planning has been kind of rushed since my fiance is leaving to Afghanistan in June and we had thought we would have a year or two before we needed to get serious about planning. It has been really stressful and I was worried about finding a dress that I could afford and having it in time for my May wedding.
The girls at I Do Bridal were amazing. From the moment I walked in the door I was cheerfully greeted and introduced to Alicia who helped me. She was so sweet and genuine and I totally relaxed. None of the other stores that I went to treated me with such respect. I told her my whole story and she dove right in helping me find a ton of dresses that were under $700 and my size.
It was actually hard to pick just one that I loved and I had to go back twice to be sure that I got the right one. Each time she was happy to see me and remembered my name, it just meant so much that someone else was happy and excited for me and took the time to really help me. I would recommend them to anyone who is getting married and say that by far they had the best service and most different types of dresses that were affordable. I can't wait to wear my dress and send them photos for their website!

This store is terrible. I had gone to so many bridal shops and had been met with so much graciousness at most all of them. This shop was like a hop in, hop out, order and get out type of place.
1- I had to call multiple times just to get someone to answer the call.
2 - You are not EVEN allowed inside the store unless you have an appt.
3 - If you try on a dress that is obviously to tight to you and all the people with you, they insist it is the right size.
4 - They do NOT alter anything. They give you a list and off you go. Not a full service place with LOTS of inexperience staff. At other places, even the front desk girls knew more about wedding dresses and were more willing to help.
5 - HERE'S THE WORST PART - and the part I outed them on (and when I did, the manager got defensive and said she felt like she was being attacked...I think someone was feeling a little guilty)...they were telling me that in order to get the dress in on time, I had to pay a $150 rush fee AND in order to get the dress in my size I had to pay an extra fabric cost of $120. Well, there were 3 other stores in the area that carried the same dress and ALL 3 of them, said there was no need for a rush fee (as the gown would appear ONE month earlier than what "I Do Bridal" said WITH THE RUSH FEE and that there was no extra fabric costs, unless the dress was a plus size (which it was not!!!)

These people are terrible and LIE. This is the worst part about them. Besides the fact that they have terrible phone manners, and have sales staff that have no idea what they are talking about, they are pushy and rude - when confronted about their lies, they just deny it. Their manager said that she considers the rush fee an insurance policy to make the bride happy and get her gown in on time. That, to me, is no different than stealing.

Pros: Only a couple of the salespeople

Cons: Dirty, smelly and LOTS OF LIES!

This was the second bridal shop that I went to. The first was David's Bridal and there was really no comparison. Bridget was my sales person and she was so fantastic! I went in hoping I might find a dress that would work for me (I'm not really into frilly princess stuff) and actually found a dress that I LOVE. Actually, Bridget found it for me. I was concerned about time because I went in with just over three months to go before my wedding. Bridget was very reassuring and encouraged me to just focus on finding a dress that I loved and that we would find a way to make it work. And we did! I just picked my dress up yesterday and I couldn't be happier with my whole experience there.

My mom was in town and we showed up without an app. yesterday (a busy Saturday) and they squeezed us in once my mom explained she was only here for two days from CA. Jen and another salesgirl brought out so many choices it was so hard to decide. I ended up purchasing a gown and veil and these girls made it even more special for me to know my mother was part of this experience. I will reccommend I Do to all my friends and future brides, I think they have something for everyone ! Thanks girls !

Finding a wedding gown is supposed to be a wonderful experience. That will not be the case if you shop at I Do Bridal. The gown selection is tiny as are the dressing rooms, the staff looks like they are still hung over from an all night mosh pit and the whole place has a dirty sleezy feel to it. Think used car sales lot. To add insult to injury, the manager is rude and the prices are too high.

I went to a couple of shops in Seattle and Tukwila before going to "I Do Bridal" in Wallingford. I really liked this shop - it's smaller, but it has a good selection at reasonable prices and the staff is competent and great to work with. I had such a good experience that I'm really surprised about the negative reviews.

I chose to visit I Do Bridal as they responded so fast to my inquiry email (two other bridal shops have not responded to my emails yet!) The email was prompt and polite and offered me an appointment within 4 days of my email. They asked me lots of questions and I explained my bad experiences with two Bellevue bridal shops and my desires to find a dress. I actually felt relieved when I was emailing with them, they seemed like they were ready to help me and that I wasnt hopeless! I am not your standard bride, I have no big-white-wedding day dreams. I am just ready to marry my Fiance!

I took my fiance's sister-in-law with me and Bridget cheerfully greeted us. I told her I would try on anything she wanted to show me, I was most drawn to beading, but not lace, A-line skirts and I have no neckline preferences (strapless, spaghetti strap, halter, whatever was OK.) I am short, curvy and a little self conscious about my bust, so I wanted something that wasn't going to hide my body, but wasnt going to be too revealing. Bridget took less than 20 minutes to assemble at least 12 dresses. Bridget was boisterous, exciting, fun and had an amazing sense of humor, she was just a bright, happy person with a very bubbly personality. She helped me in and out of several of them and I loved 2 of them immediately. Then there was the Casablanca Bridal 1831 dress. It was THE ONE. I loved it. Bridget loved it. My future sister-in-law was teary eyed. The other sales ladies came in and out and complimented the dress. I bought it right then and there, no question. I am so pleased.

I am no longer a dress-less bride, I am happily moving forward with my wedding, NOT in a tuxedo t-shirt and I have already made plans to take my maid-of-honor back to look at their bridesmaids' dresses and I am taking my friend/co-worker back to look at their exceptional section of affordable dresses. I Do Bridal may not get more of my bridal business, but I am telling everyone they rock!

I am a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and we were excited to go to I Do Bridal. Unfortunately our consultant did not offer her the "bridal" experience she was hoping for. Immediately I was made to feel a nuisance by the consultant. When she asked the budget things took a turn for the worse. Although the bride's father would've paid anything, the bride is frugal so we said under $1000, $500-$600 would be ideal. Mistake. From that point on it was clear the consultant couldn't care less about this bride. The ONLY time her eyes lit up was when my bride picked out a $2000 dress to try on. She immediately gushed about how beautiful it was and pulled it. She stopped pulling when she had maybe 7-8 dresses and said we have enough. I noticed how lovely some of the other consultants in the salon were dressed, as opposed to ours in cargo pants, T-shirt and a sweater. She was totally condescending to us both and when we had about 15 minutes left in our hour appt. would look at the clock everytime I found a new dress for the bride to try. The real kicker was when the first dress tried on didn't flatter the bride we nixed it and said we didn't like the sweetheart neckline. In an obvious attempt to hurry us along midway through the appointment the consultant put one of the pulled dresses back before the bride tried it on, "it has a sweetheart neckline and you said you didn't like those," dripping with a "since you're so smart" sarcasm. Well, the rest of the dress had everything we liked! I put it back in the dressing room and it ended up being one of 2 dresses the bride liked! Only then did the consultant find out that the neckline could be altered. We were out of there in our hours time and without saying a word to each other as soon as we were out the door the bride said, "what terrible customer service! I will never buy from here!" Hopefully this consultant was just having a bad day or I Do Bridal will surely lose customers because of her.

Being that I work in the event industry, I take my referrals to clients, and friends very seriously. Not one client, friend or family member I've sent to I DO BRIDAL, has ever been dissapointed with them. Most recently, I was asked to be part of the Dress shopping for, A dear friend and his now wife. I jumped at the chance to take her to I DO BRIDAL. Men, dont get a say in dress shops very often. We had a great time. Love, these gals...so happy, professional, and super easy to work with. TA DA...she found her dress. I, couldnt believe my eyes when I saw her in the final dress she tried on. Being a very petite girl, they got her the right, size, length, and style for her body. I must say she was an incredible vision, walking down the aisle. The groom, was blown away, when he saw her come down the aisle. THANKS, LADIES, another Well done job.

This is the first time that I have ever written a review about a shopping experience but, I was so blown away by the kind and genuine people that worked at this little store.

Tuesday I went on a quest with my mom and sister to find the perfect dress for my Valentine's Day wedding. (Yes, this year!) My sister got married last August and took me to her favorite stores. I found quite a few dresses that I liked but, nothing looked exactly like the magazine photos on my body if you know what I mean.

It was a reallyl cheerful greeting when I walked in although, I will admit I was a little intimidated as they had the gowns sort of hidden away in a curtained off room. The lady who helped me there was named Jen and she was spunky and straight forward. She picked out a few dresses as I was trying on and talked me into trying on one that I would have NEVER considered on the hanger. It was strapless and beaded (which I knew I DIDN'T want) but, when I put it on I knew that was it. It has a lace up back and I think it is made by Magie Sottego?

There was no pressure to buy it that day and we had one more store to visit so we went to lunch to think it over. I barely paid the check down the street before I ran back to buy it! There was a credit towards the veil I picked and I got a cute black bag with stuff in it when I paid. Yesterday I got home and there was a Thank you note in the mail from them and I was again blown away at how organized and thoughtful they are.

This wedding dress shopping thing was a little overwhelming to me and my mom and sister said the same thing. We were all really grateful for such a warm and inviting place to find the dress I know Antwon will love.

Pros: Kind people, Good Variety, Organized and thoughtful

We purchased a dress off the rack here and once we got it home, we found several tears in the bottom. When we attempted to exchange it the next day, we were accused of tearing it ourselves. What bride would tear a dress she loved! We were offered no help...

I shopped at many bridal salons when I was looking for that perfect dress. I had the best experience at I do Bridal in Wallingford. The customer service was great, it is a fun, friendly, low pressure environment. The person that helped me listened to me describe the perfect dress and also pulled other opptions she thought would look good on me. We had alot of fun trying on, and I felt very comfortable. At my first visit we narrowed it down to 3 choices and at my second visit I choose the dress. The whole experience was very stress free and every time I came to the sore they knew me by name, that special touch made me feel very important to them. I also ordered my bridesmaids gowns their as well and we had the same wonderful experience. All the dresses came in a couple weeks early and the service from the entire staff was great form start to finish.

My sister just purchased a dress that was in stock used for trying on at I Do Bridal this week. They were told when they purchased it that there was nothing wrong with the dress-it might just need a cleaning. When they took the dress out of the bag the next day they were shocked to find several significant rips in the bottom half of the skirt. When they called the store to see what could be done, instead of being offered an apology, solutions, or advice they were attacked and told that they must have ripped the dress themselves in an attempt to put one over on the store- like any bride would do that! I guess customer service ends the second that they have your money. I would definitely not recommend this store!

I found a beautiful dress but was strongly encouraged to order a size I knew would be too big. Since I considered them to be the experts, I ordered their recommended dress size and had to have it altered down 3 sizes; it never fit as well as it would have had I ordered the correct size. I paid to have extra length added because the floor model that I tried on was a tiny bit too short and I was not advised by I Do Bridal otherwise. I ended up having the extra length removed by my seamstress plus an additional amount because the store model was not an accurate representative of the true length. I used a seamstress recommended by I Do Bridal, only to find out through a different source that she formerly worked for them. I ended up spending the same amount in additions to the dress and subsequent alteration charges to remove some of the same, as the price of the dress itself, only to end up with a dress I loved but could never be made to fit quite right. Overall, the customer service at I Do Bridal was fine- until I made my purchase and had to make choices about the length and size. I was told the dresses "tend" to run small, which was not the actual case with my dress. My experience at I Do Bridal would have been much different if I had been informed more accurately about my dress instead of given generalized statements about all of their dresses. I have heard of similar experiences at other wedding gown boutiques, so in that sense I Do Bridal is probably "average"

I am so not a girlie kind of girl so, I was a little worried about shopping for my dress for my July wedding. My friends booked appointments for me at a few shops and I Do Bridal was the cream of the crop. We got there really early (my other appointment before that at the Kmart of Bridal didn't go so well!) They were really accommodating and got us started right away. Jennifer helped me and she was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She also helped me narrow down exactly what I was looking for and I found the perfect, simple dress for $684. Over $300 under my budget!

They also gave me a cute little gift bag when I purchased and I got a thank you note from Jen in the mail just two days later! This store is cute, fun and the service is amazing! I will gladly recommend them to everyone I know!

My dress came in about three weeks earlier than they promised and the only alterations I needed was a bustle and the straps taken up. The seamstress that they recommended (Debra Hedeen) was very friendly and the total was only $65. I couldn't have been happier with my purchase and my husband cried when he saw me that day. So, thank you to the I Do Bridal staff (especially Jen!) for making this jeans and Tshirt girl into a bride. P.S. I love to peek at my wedding photo on your site, I will cherish it forever!

This shop has some nice dresses but I felt rushed here because we could only make a 1 hour appointment. At the end of 1 hour, there were still some dresses hanging in the room that I wanted to try on, but I was told that I needed to make another appointment and come back to try on the others. I had asked to make a 2 hour appointment, but this was not a possibility, so I could understand that other people were booked after me. It was just frustrating because my mom and sister had come from out-of-town to go dress-shopping with me, so it was inconvenient for us to come back another time. The salespeople were definitely very good about getting me in and out of the dresses quickly, but I felt that 1 hour was not enough time to find that perfect dress. I did find a dress that I kind of liked at this store, but ended up finding it cheaper at a bridal shop in Lakewood. Also this is one of those dress shops that does not allow you to take pictures of the dresses so if you want to know how it looks in photographs, that might be an issue.

I scouted around a fair bit in looking for the "perfect" dress and have to say both in terms of selection, knowledge of the designers, and what looks best on different body shapes - IDo is the best! Their staff are very helpful, professional, and made me feel really comfortable. I've already sent a few of my friends there for their gowns. Can't miss if you are a new bride starting out looking for dresses!!

Only 1 of my bridesmaids lived in the same state and could thus go w/me to look at bridesmaid dresses. My bridesmaid totally forgot about our appointment and I didn't know what to do since I was too large to fit into their size 4 samples. I didn't know what to do and was trying not to totally freak out (I couldn't even get a hold of my bridesmaid and it was hard for me to get to their store during business hours). Then Morgan and Jen Kwon asked me if I wanted them to try on the dresses. I felt kind of dumb, but told them I would really appreciate it. Morgan helped Jen try on 4 different dresses for me. I ended up picking out one of the ones she tried on. Then my local bridesmaid didn't realize she needed to order her dress b/c she thought i was doing it. So by that time I had to rush the dress for her and I Do Bridal let me fax in an order form (they required a signature). They really helped me out both times when I was really stressed. They were so nice, understanding and helpful!

This is the best place in Seattle to buy a bridal gown!

They assign one bridal consultant to you, and that same person helps you every time you go into the store. Bridget helped me and she was phenominal! She was very nice, very knowledgable about bridal dresses, and really made the whole process easy and enjoyable. She even remembered every dress I tried on, and why or why not I liked it. Amazing!

The dresses they had were high quality, and resonably priced. And of course the people are great, and really take care of you. I highly recommend I Do Bridal!

My friend purchased her wedding dress here. I went with her to help out, they made me feel like I was in their way & they barely helped her pick out a dress, I did that while they pretended I was a nuisance. They have a good selection of dresses, however horribly disorganized they are. Prepare to take your time looking through their dresses, they have no order to them & the staff is not willing to help you. Their appts are only made for an hour & they only give you 1 dressing room, regardless of how many bridesmaids you have. Our other friend & myself went there to pick out our bridesmaids dresses, (we were supposed to get a discount but never did), & again there was no help. The staff tried to convince me I should buy the wrong size, (glad I didn't, the size I picked fits perfectly). They also promised me the sash on my actual dress would be removable, it's not. The dress I paid almost $200 for came with the sash sewn in & I have to pay extra for alterations. I was also shocked that they didn't even take the 2 seconds to steam the dresses for us, not even my friend's wedding dress. I would say only go to this place if you have patience enough to deal with bad, bitchy, misguided service.

I Do Bridal was the fifth bridal store I visited and it turned out I saved the best for last ! I found the "dress" there and could not have been happier with my experience. I worked with one of the owners, Robin, who is a doll and made me feel I was the only one in the store. My gown just came in two weeks ago as promised and it was beautiful. I told them I was going to post what a great experience I had and it was wonderful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I highly reccomend anyone in the market for a bridal gown to shop at this store, it was by far the most fun and enjoyable part of my wedding planning.................:)

Pros: Gorgeous gowns, nice people to work with

Cons: can't think of any.

.

My mom planned to make my wedding dress for me. A month before the wedding I tried it on and was very unhappy. After diplomatically (!) explaining it to mom I decided to go around and see if anyone had a gown that would work for me. I'm a plus size, so I wasn't very optimistic, but I Do Bridal saved the day! They actually had 5 or 6 dresses in my size and I fell in love with one of them . The woman who helped me was very knowledgeable and professional. She was even able to recommend an alterations person for me to go with since my mom was afraid to touch the dress after the fiasco with my original gown! I thought I was in a hopeless situation and the staff there really calmed my fears. I walked in almost crying and left with a big smile!

I purchased my wedding dress at I Do Bridal and they do have an excellent selection of dresses. However, the customer service was horrible. The sales assistant acted like she was not interested at all and they we're not at all helpful in listening to what I was trying to find and suggesting dresses as a result. In fact, when I found the dress that I enentually bought, they told me that they did not have a sample of the dress in the color that I wanted --- until my sister actually went and looked! Surprise, surprise there was one right on the shelf that I could try on.

A month later I made an appointment for my five bridesmaids sice they would get 10% off at the store as a result of my purchase. Again, the service was horrible! The only set aside ONE changing room for five women and we only had one hour for our appointment. My bridesmaid did not buy from I Do Bridal and the horrible service was a major factor in that decision.

They also do not gauantee dresses after you take them out of the store and they do not provide alterations. The sales person was also rude when they called to tell me that my dress was ready.

My experience at I Do Bridal was really nice. I am new to this area since I grew up in Japan. My mother in law took me to this store to find a dress for my wedding this May. We had a wonderful time there and Bridget who helped me was very sweet and knowledgeable. In fact everyone that I talked to there seemed very friendly.
I didn't have a lot of time before my wedding and the dress that I wanted was much too large for me. They were able to get one quickly at no extra cost. My mother in law who is a seamstress said it is one of the highest quality dresses that she had ever worked on. It was a beautiful dress for the price compared to anything that I tried on at the other two stores that I went to.
If you are looking for a wedding dress and really nice people to work with I would highly recommend them.

We were very pleased, Kyobi & Jeff

I have to agree with "cinderella_citygirl" and "ameliachiu". I discourage ALL brides and bridesmaids from purchasing from I Do Bridal. I agree that they have an excellent selection of dresses and have excellent customer service- AT FIRST. However, the wonderful customer service ends after the dress/dresses are purchased. Two of my bridesmaid dresses were ordered in the wrong color and they did not take responsibility for the error, forcing us to keep the wrong dresses and order 2 more in the correct color. In addition to that they were very rude and were not sypathetic at all to our situation. Planning a wedding can be stressful enough without these kind of issues. I would not suggest purchasing anything from them.

I had the most wonderful experience shopping for my gown and bridesmaids dresses at I Do Bridal. From the very first visit, they were more helpful, creative and friendlier than any other bridal stores I?ve been to. Bridget made me feel so at ease at the daunting tasks of choosing a gown and gave a lot of good suggestions. She?s a hoot too! I remembered walking out of the store and telling my sister what a great time I had. Although I finally found the gown for me at another store, but because I was so impressed by the attention given to me at I Do Bridal, I went back to Bridget and asked if she would be able to order the gown for me. She did at a much lower cost!! The bridal gown, bridesmaids? dresses and veil all arrived a few weeks earlier than scheduled. I just could not be happier with the entire buying process, and would recommend any bride-to-be to check this gem out. Thanks so much Bam! You made things so easy & fun!

My girlfriend brought us here to see her wedding gown that she recently purchased and try on bridesmaid dresses. I was so surprised with the fun and happy atmostphere inside this little store. When she arrived they knew her by name and had the dress already in a room including the shoes and bra she had tried on before. The gal who helped us was so nice and she had picked out some dresses for us to try on with it based on what Kim was looking for. I wish that I remembered her name because she was terriffic! She was really helpful with the two of us that were plus sized and found sample dresses that would fit us and kept it really fun. The prices were really reasonable and ordering only took a few minutes so we were all really pleased. At lunch we just talked the whole time about how much fun we had there and I am looking forward to sending more friends (and hopefully myself someday) to this shop. I have been a bridesmaid several times before and had very different and humiliating experiences and wanted to tell people about what a great experience we had.

I had such a wonderful experience at this local boutique. My mom and I went on a full day of bridal dress shopping and had almost decided on one when we came here. Sara who helped me was so sweet and made some great suggestions of dresses that I would have never tried on. She took her time and listened and pulled out one with the most beautiful lace trim and cap sleeves. The minute I put it on I knew that this was the perfect dress. My mom and I were both very happy with the straight forward and honest approach of the staff here during the ordering process. I wouldn't say that it is a frilly place or for those who want really high end designer gowns. My dress was only $750 but, it looks much more expensive! I used the local seamstess that they recommeded in Ballard named Debra and she was great too. We had heard great things about this store and I am so glad that I didn't settle on my dress. I just couldn't be happier!

I can't say enough how much I loved my shopping experience at I Do Bridal. I had the best time with Robin, Bridget, Darcy and all the girls. I had no idea what type of dress I wanted when I went in and they somehow managed to find the most perfect dress for me. They were always happy to help, offer an opinion, and laugh with me. I am sad that the wedding is over now and I won't have an excuse to stop in and say hi. This staff and products at I Do Bridal are top notch and I can't imagine buying my gown anywhere else. Hands down this was best customer service experience I have ever had. I purchased everything at this store; gown, tiara, shoes, earrings. It was so great to go to 1 store and they had everything I needed. I loved my shopping experience and will continue to recommend I Do Bridal to everyone I know. Love you guys! Tiffany Andrews

I absolutey LOVE I Do Bridal. I walked in for my appointment and the girl helping me asked me what style of dress I liked. After I told her, she immediately handed me 3 or 4 dresses to try. This showed me that they knew their merchandise well and it saved me a ton of time going through hanger after hanger trying to find the dress i wanted. They were extremely helpful when it came to finding my bridesmaid dresses, and if you are a bride, you know what a nightmare that can be! They recommended dresses without being pushy and they even called my bridesmaids from out of town to talk to them about ordering their dress.
The only negative thing I can say about this shop is that they no longer carry the line Pronovias, which is the only reason I went there at first. My dress is made by Pronovias and it is breath-taking. Hopefully they will get that line again in the future.

I just picked up my gown from I Do in Wallingford and wanted to express my excitement about this fun store. Most of my wedding planning has been overwhelming and I had not had the best experiences at some of the local salons. My experience here was totally different. Bridget took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and find the perfect dress. I went back several times to look and see if there were any others that I liked. Each time I came back to the same one and finally took my mom to see it. When I ordered they gave me a really nice bag with goodies and sparkling cider to celebrate!
Today when I went to pick up my gown it was ready and waiting in the room for me and my strapless bra pulled in the correct size with it. I feel like they have gone above and beyond for me to provide awesome service and know me when I come in. Very patient when I couldn't decide on color and promptly got a color swatch of my dress when I asked. Wish I had a reason to go back more!
Do make an appointment as they seem busy and it is not a big store. I am so happy to recommend them to my friends and family! I think they have been the best part of my planning so far. Great selection and prices.

I am so thrilled with my dress purchase from I Do. It took me several trips to decide on a gown and they were very patient and kind to me. I would have never found the right dress without the help of Bridget who works there. Actually they were all really nice and helpful. I was so excited when I ordered my dress they gave me a really nice gift bag with sparkling cider and goodies. My dress came really early and was in perfect condition. I just couldn't be happier and more excited to wear my dress! Wish it was sooner! Totally worth looking at this fun place and the appointments are very organized and helpful. I will highly recommend to all my friends and family! Samantha E.

Salon was not accomidating to walk-in customers and customer service was poor. Dresses were jammed together tightly on racks making it difficult to browse. Also, gowns were sorted by designer which made it difficult for me because I don't know designers.

I had a great experience at I DO Bridal in walingford. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding a couple weeks ago. After we ordered our dresses I found out I was pregnant. I went into instant panic wondering how I would fit into the dress. I called the store but as you all probably know once you order you can not cahnge the size. When the gown came in I was 3 months pregnant, I went in right away to pick it up and they recomended a seamstress that comes in there store on Thursdays. I contacted her right away. She suggested we wait until closer to the wedding as I would be getting bigger,we talked about opptions and she really put my mind at ease. 3 weeks before the wedding I met with her at the store, we lifted the hem through the waist to make it fuller throgh the tummy and let it out a little. when I came back to pick it up it not only fit perfect but It looked and felt great. All the staff was so encouraging they made me feel beautiful. The bride also got her gown at I do Bridal and had the same warm wonderful experience and we got 10% of our bridesmaids gowns. We recommend them to all our friends I can not say enough possitive things about them from ordering through alterations they are an A++++. Oh by the way we're having a girl!!!

This store rocks! I was so happy to find this little local gem right down the street from my new condo. The girls that work there were really nice and very patient with me on all of my trips in. I got married in September and didn't start looking for a dress until June which was late I guess by bridal standards. I didn't have very good luck at some of the other stores in the area and was irritated with my experiences when my girlfriend who bought here made an appointment to take me here to try on. I am so glad that she did! It was the first dress that I tried on there and the girl that helped me pulled it off the floor after listening to what I was looking for. I still tried on a few more but, I did get that "It's the one" feeling immediately. I just can't say enough about how fun and helpful they were and hope that every local bride takes the time to see how different this store is! My husband cried when he saw me for the first time and really loved my dress. For the alterations they have a whole list of people that they recommend so, you can use anyone that you want to. I had a very good experience with the alterations person that they had on the top of the list and found her professional and easy to work with. I just called her to make an appoitment for a bridesmaid dress I need altered as well. Keep an eye out for our picture on the I Do Bridal website as I will be emailing them one as soon as we get them back!

Our entire bridal party thought this place was wonderful when we ordered our dress. They were helpful and patient. We even called the manager to let her know that her staff was amazing. But the nightmare begain AFTER we paid for the deposit of the dress. They pushed for rush order (extra cost per dress) even though the wedding was more then 3 months away, which we agreed to so we dont have to 'stress' about when it arrives. We started calling them 3 weeks prior to the wedding wondering the when the dress will be in. They said it wasnt. One bridesmaid even showed up at the store to see if it was in before she left for a 2 week out of the country trip but they said it wasnt in. BUT when the 2nd bridesmaid showed up on the same day 2 hours later, they found all of the dress. (it turned out the dress has been in the store for over a week). So much for RUSH ORDER. And the sizing was HORRIBLE!!!. Some were 2 sizes too big that cost over 100 to taylor it to the right size and some were too short!!! BUT it was too late to reorder! AND DONT GO with the tailor at their store! She was horrible! She tailored one dress from 2 sizes to big to a size that the bridesmaid couldnt breath in. Then her comment was 'well, you dont want to to fall down do you? " I dont know how bridal shops are able to treat wedding parties so horrible after they got their money :( Its a wonderful special occasion for the bride and it shouldnt be such a bad experience...

I just wanted to share what a wonderful experience I had shopping at I Do Bridal. The staff was really helpful and took their time finding me the perfect dress. It was the best dress trying experience I had anywhere. The dress selection was really good. Prices were reasonable and I felt totally relaxed and comfortable here. It is a really pretty Mori Lee dress and I can't wait to wear it! I wish all the wedding planning had been this easy!
