There are several pros and cons to this free weekly. The pros are you can find out all of the good events going on in Seattle for that week. You can read some good columns like Last Days, Celebrity I Saw U, and I Love Television. It can be very funny at times. They are lesbian and gay friendly. David Scmader, Adrain Ryan, and Wm. Stephen Humphrey hold the Stranger together and are the only reason to read this rag.

Now the cons. They act like spoiled little babies in competition with the Seattle Weekly by bad mouthing them. Their articles often lack real reporting. They are incestuous in who they like and who they don't. Their editor is a little tired and so is his column, Savage Love. Their kink column is sooo boring - I hate Mistress Matisse. Their art and film reviews are not really reliable. They only feature a few artists and then ignore the rest of the community. Their film reviews - they hate everything pretty much. Luckily their old music reviewer moved away, she was as bad as Matisse.

I look forward to reading The Stranger every week. It's a great FREE Seattle newspaper. The Stranger offers awesome columns like I Anonymous, Savage Love, and Last Days just to name a few. This newspaper targets the 20something crwod of Seattle. Language may be offensive to some. Great classifieds section with employment opportunities, and apartments for rent. I also enjoy reading about restaurants in the varius neighborhoods. The Stranger offers tiny blurbs each week about restaurants. Overall great newspaper that supports the culture of Seattle.

PROS: varius volumns
